The US Supreme Court ruled six three yesterday to affirm a longstanding, albeit largely untested, legal tradition that presidents enjoy substantial, though not absolute, legal immunity for actions relating to their official duties in office. So naturally, Democrat congressmen have responded by proposing that Biden drone strike the court's conservatives.

I guess, you know, theoretically, President Biden, acting within the scope of his official duties, could dispatch the military to take out the conservative justices on the court, and he'd be immune.

Democrats have been threatening conservatives on the court with violence for some years now. Back in 2020, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer infamously screamed outside the court, quote, I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.

Since Supreme Court justices are appointed for life, this could not have been a political threat that they wouldn't be reelected or something. It could only have been what it was, a literal threat of violence, which the justices have endured. Justice Kavanaugh was nearly assassinated by a leftist in 2022. After other leftists leaked the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Justice Sam Alito was forced to move out of his house. For a time, threats from the left became so intense.

Now Congressman Zoe Lofgren is suggesting that the court's decision means Biden can and perhaps should murder them all.

But that's not what the court ruling says. Not at all. She totally misunderstands it. The ruling, in fact, upholds and develops decades, really, centuries of legal precedent, all to articulate a simple truth in America, we don't just imprison our former presidents, no matter how desperately Joe Biden and the Democrats want to do it. According to the Libs, the Supreme Court said that if Joe Biden wants to, he can and perhaps should, drone strike the conservatives on the Supreme Court. I don't think that's what the court said. I downloaded the decision to read it almost immediately after it came out, and it's a little lengthy. It's about 119 pages by my count.

But the arguments are not particularly difficult to understand.

The upshot of this decision is that we don't just throw our presidents and former presidents into prison because we don't like them. The upshot of this decision is that in America, we're not a tin pot dictatorship. We're not a banana republic. Not yet, at least. And so the president has a lot of power and the Congress doesn't get to take all that power away, and the courts don't get to take all that power away. And the next president doesn't get to take all that power away. And miscreant libs running around the streets don't get to do it either. The case was somewhat novel.

So you can't say it's just a total reaffirmation of legal precedent. But the reason you can't say that is because Joe Biden is the first president in american history who's trying to lock up his predecessor and chief rival.

So the Democrats brought us to a point. The Democrats did something that was unthinkable in american history, imprisoning your predecessor and top rival. And so now the court has to deal with that. But the way the court dealt with that is very much in keeping with legal precedent. So the court found that the president has absolute immunity for acts within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority.

So the things that a president does that are clearly laid out in the constitution.

If the president, you know, somehow falls afoul of the law while performing those specific acts, he's good. He's got total immunity. Okay.

The president also has presumptive immunity. So it's not absolute immunity, but it's presumptive immunity for all official acts as president.

And the court also found, this is why this is a pretty moderate decision. This shouldn't raise any eyebrows anywhere, that the president does not have immunity for unofficial acts.

So if the president decides on a Friday night, he's going to invite over a bunch of drug dealers and hookers to the White House and they're going to have a giant EDM music pumping, Coke fueled orgy in the east wing, he does not have immunity for that. That does not.

If, to use this example from this lunatic Democrat Congress lady, if the president decides he wants to drone strike some judges on the Supreme Court that he doesn't like, that would not be within his official duties, and so he would not have immunity for that.

What's the precedent here? The precedent is, well, there are a lot of precedents that the court cites in the decision. One of which, one that keeps recurring is Nixon versus Fitzgerald. This is a case from 1982.

The court found that the president, quote, is entitled to absolutely immunity from damages, liability predicated on his official act. So this was a civil case. A guy gets fired by Nixon and sues and the court finds no, the president has the right to fire people who work for him. The president has the right to do a lot of things in his official capacity.

And Nixon doesn't need to personally pay some schmuck a bunch of money because the guy's upset that while Nixon was president, he did his job and fired this guy from his job.

Now, here, obviously, we're talking about a civil liability, not a criminal liability. But that's why I would say this is a development. This is very much in keeping with the tradition that was established in this case. An important reminder, too, by the way. We're talking about 1982. We're talking about the burger court, okay? We're talking about Warren Bergere, who was a huge lib, you know, in the sense that his court was probably the most liberal court we've ever had in the history of the United States.

And yet we see this recognition that the president doesn't just go to jail because he jaywalked while he was carrying out his official acts.

The other upshot, and this might irritate some of the libertarians, the decision is driving the liberals crazy. And the libertarians and the conservatives are probably basically happy about this because it means that Biden doesn't get to just throw Trump in jail with total ease. It'll be a little trickier for Biden to throw Trump in jail.

But the reason some libertarians might not love this decision in principle is it's a decision that beefs up the presidency, or rather, in my view, properly restores some of the power that is due to the presidency.

This decision says that there is a greater threat posed by a weak executive than by an executive that's too strong. And this is very much keeping in the american tradition. This goes back way further than 1982. This goes back to the Marshall court.

Chief Justice John Marshall, who establishes doctrines such as executive privilege, for instance, or recognizes that the president doesn't need to just turn over every document the Congress asks for, that the president doesn't work for, for Congress, and the president doesn't work for the judiciary. We have a separation of powers. We have co equal branches of government. And let's not forget that the executive was not meant to be some wallflower. The executive, the president, is supposed to be the spirited part of government, supposed to be vigorous. This is explicitly what the framers of our constitution called for. You see this throughout the federalist. You see this in the text of the constitution itself. And you see this in the very fact that they had to call for a constitutional convention because the initial version of the American Republic, the articles of Confederation, didn't really have an executive, and it was too weak and it didn't work it failed.

There is a greater risk. I know this offends a lot of sensibilities, certainly in a liberal age, but in our democratic or egalitarian age, there is a greater risk posed by a president that's too weak than by a president that is too strong. This is a very moderate decision that says the president has his traditional rights, but he can still be liable if he steps way too far out of line. Joe Biden, of course, not understanding this decision, not understanding when people say hello to him in the morning, not understanding which end is up or what his own name is. The president, Joe Biden has come out and said, this court decision makes the president king.

In the president's brief remarks on the Supreme Court decision, that was a real blow to his ability to imprison his rival, who's currently out polling him and is likely to take his job.

Joe Biden said that he, unlike Trump, he is the sort of president who respects the limits of the office.

I think this came from the RNC research. You don't have to go back very far to find this Joe Biden. I will always respect the limits of my office.

And then what did Biden say? Like, five minutes ago, he said, the Supreme Court said that I'm not allowed to forgive student debt with the stroke of a pen. Well, I'm doing it anyway. Screw the court. Screw the constitution.

And Biden has done this again and again. Biden is now trying to do this with executive amnesty. When Biden was the vice president, his president, Barack Obama, Big Lib, said, hey, I know a lot of you liberals want me to give out an executive amnesty with the stroke of a pen, but that's not how our constitution works. That's not how democracy works. We need to pass laws and respect the rule of law in this country. And then Barack Obama did executive amnesty anyway. And now Joe Biden is putting that executive amnesty on steroids. Joe Biden doesn't respect a thing about the constitution. And I would be surprised if he had ever really properly read the document.

Then at the end of these very brief remarks, what happens? The reporters have questions for him. And Joe Biden, don't forget, he's not a king. He doesn't just make decrees and walk away. He's a president. He's accountable to the people and the intrepid fourth branch of government speaking truth to power. So surely he took the reporters questions, right.

Pretty awkward. You make this speech about how he'll respect the limits of the office and he's accountable and he's not better than everyone. And then I. He refuses to take any questions from reporters. And because he's obviously senile, he walks really slowly, so he turns around, and then you can just hear all these questions. Hey, if you really believe everything you just said, can you answer any of our questions?

He just walks right out the door. Most notable about this commentary from the president, this was pointed out by Olivia Nutzie at New York magazine, says a liberal journalist, Biden apparently is wearing bronzer. Now. So you look at this picture of Biden, and she says, she says somebody at the White House finally applied bronzer to the president. And you realize he's dressing like Trump. Trump. For how long have the Democrats made fun of Trump's bronzer? He puts foundation on his face and it makes him look a little bit orange.

Joe Biden is now doing the exact same thing. Why? What this signifies to me is that Joe Biden having exhausted every other method of beating Trump, trying to out argue him, trying to prosecute him, trying to calumniate him, trying to do this, trying to do that, he's now decided the only way he can maybe even have a shot at beating Trump is to imitate him, to just be like him, to even dress up in the power tie and the orange makeup.

If you can't beat him, join him. Let's go. Pretty soon, you're going to see Joe. He's going to start using his hands when he talks. He's going to try to crack jokes. He probably can't do that because he's not very swift anymore going to use the word. Frankly, I can't do an impression of Joe Biden doing an impression of Donald Trump. I'm simply not that talented in show business. But get ready for it. You're already seeing the first step. You can't beat him, join him, because the Democrats realize that Trump is winning right now. So even if you hate Donald Trump, you have to realize he's doing something right. He's appealing to some people, maybe finally now, after the Democrats have tried every other option, they might say, huh, rather than being like principal Skinner on the Simpsons and saying, hmm, everyone hates me, and I keep dropping the poll numbers. No, surely it's the children who are out of touch. It can't possibly be me right now. They're recognizing, huh. Well, maybe there's something to what this Trump guy's doing. Okay, so they're gonna try to do that. They're gonna try to keep Biden on political or maybe even literal life support until the November election. Why? Because what's the alternative? We went through all the options yesterday. The clearest one would be Kamala Harris. She's the vice president. Kamala Harris is trying to boost her electoral bona fides.

She just went on bethe to shore up specifically the black vote. Don't forget, Donald Trump has made huge inroads with the hispanic vote. This is according to CNN's chief data analyst, shows a 20 point swing repeatedly in surveys. There's even a sign, and I know we hear it every election cycle, but CNN at least is talking about it this time. So the liberals seem to be somewhat scared that Trump is making inroads with black voters. So now the White House has sent out Kamala Harris to shore up the black vote. And here's how she did it.

The freedom to love who you love. The freedom to be safe from gun violence. The freedom for a woman to make decisions about her own body, not having her government tell her what to do.

It was almost certainly filmed separately, too, so it wasn't even believable as a conversation, much less the ebonics that some hapless staffer convinced Kamala Harris to attempt to articulate.

None of it was persuasive at all. No one believes this.

This will only turn off not only black voters, but any voter. It's so embarrassing. Joe Biden just went up on stage and basically suffered rigor mortis on national television, and he's somehow less of an embarrassment than Kamala Harris. So you see the Democrats problem.

There's no Democrat ex machina that's going to enter the scene and become the great savior of the party and beat Trump.

That's why they've leaked to axios that Biden is dependably engaged in official presidential duties the whole time between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. 10:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. i think I read that right.

I'm just reading straight from axios now. This is a relatively liberal outlet. White House aides have reportedly claimed that Joe Biden is only dependably engaged during a six hour window span.

Several aides have reportedly, quote, seen flashes of an absent minded Biden during certain instances, while also seeing Biden appear engaged during the other instances. Stores that keep those hours ten to four go out of business like a local mom and pop in your neighborhood.

If they only keep 10:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. they're very likely going to go out of business. Well, those are the hours that the president of the United States is currently keeping, during which he's sometimes absent minded and demented, even within those hours. But other times he's engaged.

And that is why our country is going out of business. That is one of the reasons that our country is going out of business. An even worse defense than the one we're seeing from the White House. Oh, no, don't worry. He works from ten to four. He's mostly lucid for 6 hours a day.

An even worse defense comes from California congressman Ro Khanna, who says, no, no, no, you don't understand. Yeah, the debate was bad, but don't worry, he just has sundowners.

I mean, obviously, the president didn't have a good night, but he admitted that. And he said, look, I'm old. I don't know what his advisors were thinking having a 09:00 p.m. debate. There are probably not many people who are in their seventies and eighties around him, but he does much better in the day. He was at a rally today, and he was honest.

If you've ever had a grandparent who you know is getting a little old and maybe is even even showing early signs of dementia, you'll know that one, one sign is something called sundowners, which is just at the end of the day, they get a little bit less lucid. And as dementia progresses, it gets a lot worse.

You start to look slack jawed and you start to look vacant, and you can't form a coherent sentence, and you start to see all the stuff that we saw at Joe Biden exhibit during that debate with Trump.

The official Democrat defense now from not just some wacky lib on cable, but, well, he is a wacky lib on cable, but he's not just that Democrat member of Congress. The official defense is, hey, give him a break. He has dementia.

That's what you're hearing.

That's the best they've got. Even Joe Biden's kind of admitting that now that he acknowledges. No, the reason he's slipping up in public is not because of a childhood stutter that magically reappeared 47 years into his political career. No, he says, I can't talk as well and I can't debate as well anymore because he has dementia, because he's senile. That's why this is not working to quell fears in the Democrat party. That is why a legendary Democrat strategist, James Carville, talk about speaking incomprehensible dialects of American English. James Carville comes out and he says, the Democrats are totally blowing this. They just need to give the people what they want.

It doesn't. That's not the real question here. The real question here is we have a Supreme Court that's bought and paid for by rvs and fishing lines. We have a country that 72% want something different. If the Democratic Party can't produce something different that 72% of people want, then why do we exist? What are we here for?

I mean, the country is clamoring for change and what are we going to offer them? The same stuff. It doesn't make any sense. Jake.

Give the people what they want. Box populi that they want something different. Let's give it to them. I mean, I just don't get the whole thing. I'll be honest with you.

I'm not even going to do my JAmes CaRville voice to mock what he just said because what he said is perfectly reasonable. I don't know about the Vox Populi kind of stuff because the second part of that quote, Vox Popoli, is Vox Popoli, Vox Dei, and the voice of the people is the voice of God. I don't really believe that, but the Democrats often have believed that. At least James Carville thought the Democrats believed that. They've said that sort of thing a lot, but they obviously don't believe that because they refuse to give the people what they want.

So what are the Democrats here for? Well, I've got an answer for James Carville.

The Democrats are here right now precisely not to give the people what they want.

That's the problem.

That's why they're not going to give the people what they want. That's why James Carville is going to keep beating his head against the wall.

Because they're not going to give the people what they want. Because their purpose right now is not to give the people what they want. Because the democratic party exists to advance liberalism.

That hasn't always been the case. The Democrat party is a very old political party. But for most of the 20th century now into the 21st century, the purpose of the party has been to advance liberalism. And the people don't want liberalism right now.

The people don't want all the manifestations of liberalism. The people don't want open borders. The people don't want LGBT lMNop propaganda being shoved down their throats and down their children's throats. The people don't want endless wars for this global empire. The people don't want globalism broadly. They don't want to have all their jobs shipped overseas.

They don't want american manufacturing to collapse. They don't want.

They don't want what liberalism is offering.

But the Democrats exist. The raison d'etre of the Democrats is to advance liberalism. So you got to choose between liberalism and the people. You're going to pick liberalism if you're a democrat and you're just going to grit your teeth and hope you can ram it through. And maybe they'll be lucky. And then like they did in 2020, maybe they can just lock all the people down and stop the people from doing what they wanna do and change all the voting rules, in some cases unconstitutionally.

And maybe they can just jumble everything up enough that they can keep their cadaver in the Oval Office, even though the vast majority of Americans don't think that he's up to the job, that's their only option. Because if they took James Carville's advice and they gave the people what they wanted, the Democrats would become the republican party on major issues. Yes, the majority of people still disagree with Republicans on certain things. But when you look at those really important issues at the top of the list, the top priorities for everyone going into 2024, things like immigration, things like the economy, things, even foreign policy is playing a bigger role this year because Joe Biden has screwed it up so badly that we feel like we're on the brink of world war three on those issues.

If the Dems give the people what they want, they would just become Republicans. They can't do that.

That's why it's not going to work, and that's why Carville's going to continue to be angry throughout the rest of the campaign.

Don't take my word for it. Look at the predictions, even of the liberal pollsters, including Nate Silver, who's probably the most reliable presidential pollster and prognosticator around today.

I read his model last week, which showed that Trump had something like a 65% electoral college chance and Biden had something like a 35% chance of winning in the electoral college. So that was shocking in itself, that Nate Silver, who has accurately predicted, or more accurately than others, predicted all sorts of races since 2008 when he really came onto the scene. He's saying, yeah, this is Trump's election to lose. But even then, even a week ago, Trump still would have lost the popular vote. So Nate Silver still gave Biden an edge, I think it was 51 49 or somewhere thereabouts, to win the popular vote because Democrats have these states that are extremely populous, like California and New York.

Now that's changed. Now, according to Nate Silver's predictions, Biden's electoral College probability has dropped even further, now down to 31%. Trump's has boosted up even further now to 68.4%. And then Silver gives the popular vote edge to Trump.

He says Biden has a 46.2% chance of winning the popular vote. Trump has a 53.8% chance. The popular vote does not officially matter at all in the presidential race, we don't elect our presidents by popular vote, but Republicans have had a hard time winning the popular vote since the year 2000.

If Trump, if Trump, of all people, who we were told is the mango Mussolini, Trump, who we were told is the grave threat to our sacred democracy.

If the majority of people, not just the majority of states and the electoral college, but if the majority of people voted for Trump, the libs would still keep it up and they'd say it was still a great threat to democracy. But it would be even harder for them to make that argument because democracy is what most people want.

And if most people want Trump, that is just a literal expression of the democracy, folks. Paul Polyvox Day, I guess, make James Carville even angrier. Some people cannot be convinced, including a very popular liberal streamer who goes by the name of Destiny. I was on with Destiny yesterday and a few other people, Tomi Lahren, a number of other people on Piers Morgan's show, and I thought Destiny was making a lot of pretty reasonable points, actually. He, unlike a number of Democrats now, was saying, look we should stick with Biden because, well, he was saying exactly what I was saying on this, which is that there's nothing better. It's not that Biden's a good candidate, but there's just no way. When you consider incumbency, when you can consider Biden's name recognition, when you consider the fact that the backbench is absolutely terrible, when you consider how late in the game it is, he was saying, I'll vote for Biden. I don't care how demented he is. He went even further, though. Destiny said, I would vote for an urn.

Forget about a demented guy or a cadaver. I would vote for an urn filled with ashes over Donald Trump. And Piers was really shocked by this. But I kind of get it.

I get it. What destiny is really saying there, albeit in a provocative way, is the president doesnt really matter.

What destiny is saying is something liberals have been saying for about 100 years, which is the job of the president is too big for any one man, and the man doesnt really matter. Woodrow Wilson can have a stroke and be incapacitated, and it doesnt really matter because, hell, just the government will just keep on running. In that case, it was actually Wilsons wife who was largely running the government, just as some people are suggesting right now, who is controlling access to her husband, maybe has a little undue influence. Regardless, I get the argument. Liberals have made it for a long time. The government's run by committee, the government's run by the staff. The president doesn't really matter. That argument would be more persuasive if everything weren't falling apart right now.

That argument would be more persuasive if we hadn't just seen Trump. Trump was in office, and we had peace in the Middle east, relatively. We had the Abraham accords were signed. We had no new wars, no new majority wars popping off. We had a diminishment of american involvement in these wars and american vulnerability.

We had the first presidency in 20 years, 20 plus years, where, under whose watch? Vladimir Putin didn't take more land. Under George Bush, Putin invades Georgia. Under Obama, Putin invades Crimea. Under Donald Trump, Putin just kind of chills. Under Joe Biden, Putin further invades into Ukraine.

Things were pretty good.

And so how do you explain that?

It's all the same. State Department apparatchiks, the appointed people have changed. But if you really believe, well, the deep state and the cogs of government just kind of keep on turning. Okay, well, why aren't they turning as well anymore?

The president still does matter to some degree.

My favorite comment yesterday is from Andy Hoch, who says anyone surprised if Biden's debate performance needs all new sources of information. This is an important point, and I've heard some other people say it, but it cannot be overstated.

I was somewhat surprised at Biden's debate performance because he was notably worse than he had been at the state of the union. He was notably worse than he'd been at other debates. But I'm not surprised that Biden has dementia. I'm not surprised that he's senile. I'm not surprised that he has sundowners. I'm not surprised by any of that because I've been paying attention to Biden over the years.

The liberals who were really caught by surprise here, not just by the degree of Bidens decline, but by the fact that hes declined at all.

The liberals who really believed that he just had a new expression of a childhood stutter, and thats why he seemed a little off.

Those guys are consuming north korean levels of state propaganda all the time.

Those people have no idea what is going on in the country, because that means that the only news media that you are paying any attention to is the official curated line of Joe Biden in the Democrat party.

That is a signal, not just that something is wrong in the country and that something is wrong in the party. There's something, it's a signal that something is very, very wrong about your relation to what's going on, your relation to politics. Maybe time to start tuning into some other shows, maybe the Michael Knowles show. It's not a bad idea.

Speaking of law enforcement, our chief law enforcement officer, I guess, you know, at the head of the executive branch would be the president. Let's get a little bit more local. Down in Florida, police have arrested an 18 year old teenager, Christian Meyer, on charges of felony criminal mischief.

What did he do?

He did donuts on a pride mural that was painted into the middle of the road.

Thats what he did. And now this kid is being charged with a felony at age 18 for putting some skid marks onto a giant pride symbol that is for some reason painted into the middle of the road.

Okay, pride month goes on. Its July 2. Pride month continues.

This kid made a huge mistake. This kid, I think we can all acknowledge this kid made a huge mistake. Had this kid decided to get a really big american flag and then put it in the middle of the street and drive all over it and then set it on fire, potentially endangering the buildings around him, you know, I know it'd be like arson and everything, but if he had done that to an american flag, the old red, white, and blue, not only would he not have been arrested and charged with a felony, he would be hailed as a hero and probably given some awards. He would at the very least be lauded on cable news and left wing podcasts.

But the mistake he made was instead of just burning and desecrating the american flag in the middle of the street, even with fire, he decided to drive his car over the liberal symbol that had been painted into the middle of the road. And that's a big no no. You can't do that. You have to worship the rainbow flag, which stands for pride.

Pride, the queen of all vice and the deadliest of the seven deadly sins, and which further signifies weird sex stuff. You have to worship weird and aberrant sexual behavior, or else you're gonna be charged with a felony in the United States at the age of 18 for driving your car in the road.

I understand that what he did could potentially be construed as some kind of crime. I guess.

I guess it's a crime to do donuts.

I don't think it was a felony. It seems like it's a little bit trumped up those charges. But sure, I guess doing donuts in the middle of the road is probably not totally legal, so. Sure. Okay. I guess he did something wrong.

This kid should receive a full and immediate pardon. And happily, this is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, whos great on these issues. Lets not forget Governor DeSantis, a national leader on issues such as this.

Governor DeSantis, I believe, could just pardon this kid, and he should.

Its not to say that now people can just do donuts wherever they want in the road. They cant. And we dont want to establish that principle. We dont want people driving like maniacs and doing donuts and everything.

But the pardon power exists for a reason, and the punishment that is being inflicted on this young man is obviously excessive.

The political protest that this kid was making is not only the sort of thing that were he protesting something like the american flag, the liberals would hail as the essence of the First Amendment and his rights to peacefully protest, but hes actually protesting something worth protesting, and hes actually standing up for something thats good and worth standing up for, namely proper sexual ethics and normal behaviors and the traditional american way of life.

Hes opposing a movement that seeks to castrate and sexually abuse little children by scandalizing them and convincing them that they're the opposite sex and putting them into all sorts of bad behaviors and habits and very likely shortening their lives, even when you just statistically kind of look at how those stories turn out when people go down the LGBT LMNop rabbit hole.

This kid's standing up for something good, and the pardon power exists for a reason. But the pardon power is not contrary to justice. It is a perfection of justice because we recognize that there is an important role in society for justice, but there's also an important role for mercy, and there's an important role for the dead letter of the law lying on paper. And there's an important role for the thumadic and spirited executive to enforce and apply those laws, as well as a role for the judiciary and the legislature, which I guess is that broad topic today. Since we're talking about presidential immunity and the separate separation of powers and co equal branches of government, this would be a great opportunity for the governor of Florida to say, hey, you're good.

I full pardon, you're good.

This kid deserves it.

Now, speaking of kids, there's a story that's near and dear to the hearts of many of us at the daily Wire, especially right now, and that would be the foster system. Biden's Health and Human Services department has come out and said that foster kids can only go to families that are willing to scandalize and traumatize the children because Biden's HHS has said that foster kids can only go to families who were on board with the LGBT elementop nonsense.

And they can only go to families that believe in transgenderism and that will call the kids by the wrong pronouns.

A little young man is confused and thinks he's a woman, that the parents have to pretend that he's a woman and maybe even put him on the path to doing the transgender transition. Really, really awful stuff. Which means that what Biden is saying is if you're a Christian, you can't adopt foster kids.

If you're a Christian who believes in anything even resembling christian orthodoxy, certainly if you're a Catholic, if you're Eastern Orthodox, if you adhere to any kind of traditional, more traditional protestant denominations, you just can't, you can't adopt out of the foster system anymore.

Jews, Orthodox Jews, sorry, you're out of luck. Muslims who take their religion seriously now you're probably out of luck, too.

Only radical leftists willing to traumatize and scandalize kids, they're the only ones who can adopt out of the foster system now. This rule is not scheduled to take effect until 2026. DW just did a poll on this. You'll be shocked to hear most people don't agree with this rule. They think it's really bad.

This would be one of the reasons, I think, that Democrats and Biden are having such a hard time in this election cycle. But a majority of american voters believe the foster care system is in significant need of reform.

Over two thirds of american voters believe it is a benefit for a foster child to be adopted by a faith based family. Not only is it not a negative, it's actually a great positive.

The family that prays together stays together. It's become cliche, but it's become cliche because it's true.

Majority of Americans believe it is more beneficial for a foster child to be adopted by a family that believes in traditional gender norms. Go down the list, the sort of stuff you would expect.

But there's a major, major attack on that right now. And that is why the timing of sound of hope is actually rather providential, I suppose. So if you want to go see the movie, go check it out. HHS rule is to come into effect because on the list of the 300 things that Trump is going to have to do on day one that might have to be on the list. There's going to be a lot of other stuff, but that one's going to have to be there, too. There's a lot of madness to undo from even just these three years of a Biden presidency.
