Let me tell you about rough greens. Hey, Stu, how are you, Glenn, how are you? Good. How's your dog?
B
Good.
C
Two dogs. They're both doing well.
A
Yeah, yeah. Well, they called me last night. They called me last night. They said they're only sticking around for the food. Both of them. They were both, it was a party line and they were both on the phone. They're like, you know, except for the food, this place is a nightmare. But he gives us rough greens and we're looking for another place. I said, well, we do rough greens, and at our house, we feed our dogs rough. And they're like, we'd much rather be with you, really? And I said, really? It's not just the food. And they said, no, you know, Stu's given us the rough greens mainly because he listens to you.
And we just, we don't like him. We don't like him.
C
Wow. Now, what year was this when the party line existed? What year was the phone call?
A
Anyway, you can call right now and, you know, your dog may hate stew as well, but feed them rough greens. Help. Help Stews dog find a home. Well, hello, America. There is one thing that is on everybody's mind today, if you are politically minded at all, and that is the debate. We begin there in 60 seconds. First, I got a challenge for you. If you could change your mobile plan, would you? You can get in there and fiddle around with it, maybe save some money in the process if it wasn't just such an inconvenience. You change, right? Here's the challenge. Take a little time today and go to Patriot mobile.com Beck and see how much money you can save. See how you can be working with a company that actually, you know, believes in the same things you believe in and see how easy it is to switch. Right now, all you have to do is go to patriotmobile.com beck. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Call 972 Patriot. They've got an all american staff of people. I think they're all Texans, actually. So you can ask them, geez, can I still get in? Because I think Texas is about to close all of its borders. But maybe that's just me. You can get a free smartphone.
Just use the promo code beck when you call him at 972 Patriot. Use the promo code beck. Or you can go to Patriot mobile.com beckley. Poke around, see how much money you will save today.
All right. So I want to talk to you a little bit about the debate tonight and what I think Americans want to hear, what we're looking for. If you're watching the debate, you're most likely watching because you're a conservative.
Maybe there will be a few independents that are looking for a choice. But how am I going to choose between these two? I don't know.
You know, there's very few Democrats that are watching. And apparently, according to a latest poll, it is mainly Republicans that are interested in this thing. We'll get into the reasons why for all three independents, Republicans and Democrats a little later. But here's why you should watch. And here is what people want to hear. First of all, let me start with it. What they don't want to hear, they don't want to hear about Russiagate. They don't want to hear about stolen elections January 6 or, frankly, abortion. In either direction.
They don't need to go over the cor, the corrupt court cases of Donald Trump. We got it. Or the corruption of the DOJ regarding Hunter Biden.
They don't want to hear about Nazis or an argument over the republic or democracy. They don't want to hear about drag queen story hour or any more equity.
They don't want to hear about global warming. It is at the bottom of the list of Americans concerns, okay?
They don't want to hear about the past and Covid vaccines, especially if it's used as an excuse to dismiss or blame inflation or lack of jobs.
Anyone who tries to sell the border is secure. Our country is in good shape. Jobs are plentiful and growing like crazy. Fuel is cheap and food is affordable. Will lose, maybe not tonight, but in the fall, that message will lose.
People no longer believe in the system. They don't believe that it's geared for them anymore.
The, they don't believe in the politicians, quite honestly, on either side of the aisle. And they certainly don't believe Jake Tapper and the press, all of those things that were, you know, goodwill or we've got the full faith and trust in the american government is a thing of the past, the distant past.
People do not need, want or frankly believe any more of the fake fear mongering.
Why?
Because there's enough stuff out there to actually be afraid of. And Americans are.
Here's what Americans want to know.
Who is going to keep my job secure?
Who's going to grow jobs?
Who's going to make sure this insane inflation doesn't continue and, in fact, goes down?
They don't care about the Fed, how it works, or what Janet Yellen thinks.
People don't want to choose between food and fuel.
I don't want to choose between making rent or having a car.
I can't afford a new home. I can't afford a loan, nor the 30% interest rate on my credit cards, which are already maxed out.
People want answers. They want an actual plan that they are participating in, that they understand it, and they're like, okay, yep, all right, let's do that.
They want a leader.
They care about the elites who are getting rich. The banks are always bailed out without any consequence, and it seems like the average American can't even get a fair deal.
That's what they want to hear about.
They're the people who create 70% of all jobs in recessions and tough times. The small business people who are in small business have always been the backbone of job creation. Yet they see the pattern. It's the same with the banks. Home Depot made money was allowed to stay open, but the local hardware store, that was a health danger.
What's the game we're playing?
Because the american people feel like I'm on the losing end and it's become real for them. They've seen what the reimagining of our economy is doing. They, they've seen the reimagining of the police. They know what that looks like. What they want to know tonight is who's going to restore safety to our streets and sanity in the houses of justice and the DA offices.
Crime is unlike anything I have seen in my lifetime because it's everywhere.
I I mean, when San Franciscans were pooping on the streets, I thought that was novel.
Well, that's happening in a lot of places. Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, you name it.
All of California except the farmland. And they could probably use the poop at the farmland.
People want safe and clean streets.
They've seen the reimagining of our schools.
They want schools that will help them as parents teach their children reading, math, arithmetic, writing, usable skills, not how to march in protests. No matter how insane or, quite frankly, how valuable those protests might be. They don't need the school training them to be a protester.
Our children need a good education.
They don't need some indoctrination camp to teach them that they're gay. Not gay, non binary, one of 93 different genders.
They don't want any of that.
What they really worry about when it comes to their children is what is their children's life going to be like?
Because I can't imagine it. If we stay on this road, I don't see a bright future for my children, and that's bad.
And people know it, and they want to know who will stop the insanity.
Remember, that's what Biden came in as. Biden won the last election because he was like, isn't this crazy? I mean, don't you just want to. And people voted for him because he's an old, safe guy. What's he going to do?
Well, we've seen what he's done.
Are our kids going to be able to afford an education?
Is it worth having an education?
What should they study?
With AI and everything that's coming? What is the plan, guys?
Will my children be able to own a house? Will my children be able to inherit my house?
Will they be able to have food or even grow food?
People worry that this is the end of a country that almost all of us, 75, 80% plus love and want. We may disagree on the problems or the solutions, but. But 80% of us love America.
They want to. They want a solution on the border. They want answers on the border.
They worry about war.
Is my kid going to be sent off to fight some politician or global elites? War?
Something I don't want. Something that I don't believe in, something that I don't even understand why we're in it. You're already spending all of my children's money, and you can't track any of it.
And are we seriously talking tough when nuclear war is an option on the table for not just one country, but seemingly several countries?
I mean, down on the list? They worry about freedom of speech, unlike they've never thought of it before, because it's becoming more and more real.
They're feeling it in their office.
They also worry about guns.
They worry about the senseless shootings in our schools. But are you going to address the real problem there? Because if there's a shooting in the school, we know who's going to get the blame.
It's the gun or the Nazis. But, you know, when we have a transgender shooting, in fact, several of them, nobody seems to want to talk about that. Nobody even wants to talk about the real problems of social media.
That's the main driver of suicide and the death in young adults, they, they won't say anything about that because they're in bed with social media.
They won't call out the gangs. They won't call out China and the drug cartels for the huge problem of fentanyl.
Instead, what they'll do is they'll make it harder for people in actual pain to get pain relief from their doctors. Have you tried to get pain relief from your doctor? Oh, God.
Well, you're already, you're already, they're looking at you now to put you in jail because you need pain relief from your doctor.
And the doctor is also afraid of going to jail because if he messes up one thing, that's it for him.
And it seems more and more like the solution from our government for real pain relief for pain and suffering is, well, you can kill yourself.
But I digress.
People care about their future.
For the first time in my lifetime, their immediate future, are my kids going to survive school?
Is my wife going to make it after going to the gas station?
Am I going to have any money left? Will I be able to keep my house or my apartment?
People, for the first time in my life, are beginning to look at our civil rights, our bill of rights, in a different way. For instance, the right and keep, to keep and bear arms. That's always been theoretical in so many ways, but it's not theoretical anymore. And here's how we see on tv all the time, people trapped in their cars surrounded by antifa or Hamas lovers, whatever it is, and there's no help coming for that person in the car. There's no help.
But God forbid you defend yourself.
No, the riders won't have a problem. No, they'll be fine. You, no help is coming.
We see that you call 911 in several cities. No help is coming.
Our wives, our daughters, our son, even us men, we have to stop and get gas at night occasionally. When did it become normal to keep checking over your shoulder to make sure you're not being cased?
The bad guys have guns, and the way they get them is not through any legitimate gun store that you're breathing down the neck on.
They have them. They use them. And the police now are no longer allowed to police anymore. And if they do, God forbid, the DA lets them go.
If our government won't stop gangs from coming across our border from the terrorists of many countries that are known to be coming over our southern border, if the government dismisses rioters, firebombings, calls the hard working, tax paying American that is struggling literally to buy a loaf of bread, the biggest threat to America, then maybe we've already lost our country and too many innocents will lose their life.
People want to know who will keep them safe.
People want to know why our veterans are on the streets and illegal aliens are in five star hotels.
People want to know why you won't arrest and convict criminals. You won't go after the gangs or illegal guns. You won't enforce our laws.
And then at the same time, a big push to take away my right to defend myself. And the only thing that I'll have to defend myself.
But again, that's a distant second to I can't afford food, I can't pay for my house. I can't afford an apartment, a car, electricity, fuel, insurance, healthcare.
And no slogan is going to work this time. None.
Only leadership.
People need to see a leader tonight that actually sees them.
They don't care about their life. They don't care about the past.
They need a leader that sees them, sees what their life is like for them every day.
They don't need anybody to tell them how bad it is they want to hear.
I get it.
I see you.
I know the problem, and I will fix it.

C
Glad I think you hop in and you do the debate tonight for Donald Trump, that was a great, great way of explaining it. Now, of course, he's a little bit of a different style and maybe more life success, but it was a pretty good rant.
A
You should listen to me. I know if he could lay it.
C
Out like that, though, that would be really effective.
A
That's what people, the thing about Donald Trump that people miss, and I think you've seen it several times. I know I have. And some members of my staff have seen it when we've been with him or interviewing him before the cameras go on. He's a performer, okay?
But in real life, he is kind and sensitive. He is. I mean, he's not the guy you see as the entertainer. He is.
He is thoughtful of other people and compassionate. And if that Donald Trump can come out and just look in the camera, no matter what they say, look into the camera and say, I could sit here and talk about, you know, the stolen election and I could make some good points, but what difference does it make to you? Now?
You're worried about buying groceries.
This guy is denying that inflation is even happening.
I don't deny it. I will fix it.
Win win.
D
Stand up Glenn Beck.
A
But just in case he doesn't win, I'd like to introduce you to my patriot supply.
One of the best investments you can make for your family is food security.
When the lines of the grocery store around the block, there's, there's not much to get inside anyway. You know the gods of the copybook headings. If tonight's debate was fair, they would ask some tough questions of Joe Biden. The federalists put five questions together.
Mister Biden, when you took office, inflation was 1.4%. Under your leadership, inflation hit 9%.
Why do you blame Trump for that? Question number two. What would you do differently in the next four years to bring down inflation that you could not have done in these past four years?
Question number three. For years you have said you did all you could to secure the border. During the last few weeks, however, you've taken executive action to implement policies related to illegal immigration. Many of these were things that you stopped and canceled from Trump.
What changed in the last four years over the last three weeks and why did you wait?
Number four, the New York Times and other outlets have criticized you for avoiding interviews and speaking to the press. You have the lowest rate of interaction with the media, both your predecessors. What's your response? And number five, President Biden, you have continually said no one is above the law and that legal decisions such as Trump's conviction must be respected.
Where then do you get the authority to ignore the Supreme Court's rulings when it comes to student loans?
That's according to the federalist. Yeah, I like all those good, those.
C
Are all really good questions.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
Pat Gray joins us now, Stu Berger, my executive producer.
What are you guys hoping is asked tonight? What do you hope we see in each candidate.
D
Hmm.
B
I'd like to, I'd like to have the question to Biden. Why do you keep lying about your background, your family, your career? Virtually everything you ever say is a total and complete lie. And even after they've been fact checked by liberal organizations, you continue to say the same things, continue to lie over and over and over again. Also, you've said the border is secure. You've also blamed Republicans for the chaos at the border. Which is it? It, you can't have it both ways. Either the border is secure, as Alejandro, my, the impeached Alejandro Mayorkas has told us, or there's chaos that you can't get the Republicans to pitch in on.
A
What?
B
How can you have it both ways on that?
C
I don't think there's any chance they're going to ask him. They're not going to question. No, especially.
B
Or the second.
A
No, probably not the second one either.
C
But can you go back and revisit the first one for a second about his life? Because I feel like we've covered these things individually, we've popped into these stories here and there, but like, he has a real problem.
D
He does.
C
Telling the truth about his own life.
B
Yes.
A
Yes.
B
It depends on what group he's with, whatever group he's with. That's his background every single time.
If he's with blacks, he hung out more in black churches than black people did. If he's with jews, he was at synagogue more than they were.
If he's with a truck, if he's.
A
With the truck drivers, he's talking about how he drove a semi truck.
B
Right.
A
I mean, literally everything.
B
If he's with noisy cascade lumberjacks, he was a lumberjack for a time.
He was unbelievable. It's unbelievable to watch and deliver.
A
Speaker two, I don't, I, again, don't think any of that is important to the american people. I really, I mean, it is, but I, if you're trying to win an election, what matters right now is you keep saying inflation is going down. It's never gone down. The rate of inflation has slowed, but still. Now you're saying a happy target would be 3% inflation rate going up every.
C
Year, double what it was when Trump left office.
A
Correct. What are you doing about this?
That people want to know? I can't afford electricity.
You have taken our coal, you have taken our fuel, and you've destroyed our ability to make electricity ourselves.
In the meantime, you are selling these electric cars.
Will, we got to plug these cars into something.
What are you doing to help people that don't don't have the money to afford fuel now because of your policies.
D
Yeah.
C
And I think those are the big sort of overarching questions I would be fascinated to see. And I don't know if the debate is the right time. I would love to see a journalist sit down with Joe Biden and in the middle of all the other questions they always ask him. Take four examples of his blatant lying about his life.
B
Yeah.
C
The Amtrak story.
A
I don't know.
B
Give me the Xi Jinping, 17,000 miles traveling with him, talking about it on the tibetan plateau, all of that kind of stuff.
C
Just came to say yes or no. Did you actually do these things?
B
Yeah.
A
I want to know this.
The thing that would matter to me is, did your son die of wounds in Iran, in Iraq? Yeah.
C
That's a great one.
B
Or another great one.
A
Or did he die in a hospital of cancer? Which is it, sir?
C
That's fascinating. It's a central part of your life. He's based so much of his origin story for the, for running for office on the death of his son.
B
Yeah.
C
He's used it over and over again to justify why he's running, and he's used it over and over again when he's talking to families of people who did lose truth. It's always about him in Iraq.
B
Yeah. It makes it about him every time.
C
Every single time. I mean, it's such a. It is totally different than what you were talking about last hour, Glenn, where it's like, not.
A
You're right.
C
Like nothing. Not like this big. You know, no one's going to write well, Joe Biden lying about his life in the polls that show, like, what are the top issues? But it is so. It tells you so much about the man.
B
Yeah, it does.
C
I don't know anything.
B
It shows you what a lie is. He's just such a liar.
A
I agree.
B
And. And he's lied about the important issues that you just brought up, like inflation. He keeps saying it was 9% when he took office. Well, ask him about that lie. How do you keep saying that? You keep repeating it. It's nothing true. Why are you doing this?
C
I could see that happening. I could see something like, I mean, again, they're going to, they're not going to challenge him on his b's answer, but I think it's possible they bring that up to speaker one.
A
Well, now, wait a minute. They might. They might challenge. They might ask him tough questions. I mean, you asked me yesterday, why is, you know, why is he, why are they making such a big deal, you know, of him being in Camp David and everything else. And, you know, Donald Trump just, they're not making a big deal out of his study.
I mean, it takes a long time to memorize all of the answers to the questions CNN gave you in advance.
And so I think they're, you know, he'll have a good answer because, no, wait, what's her name doesn't work there anymore. Donna Brazile. So I guess she, she can't do that anymore. So we can trust them.
Go ahead.
B
I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't provided him, if they provided him with all the, all the questions in advance. I bet he has them. Bet he has them.
C
I wouldn't be surprised.
A
I wouldn't do really all, they've done it before. Yeah.
C
It's literally already occurred. So you can't rule it out. I mean, I cash you hope they wouldn't do that. But this is, you know, Joe Biden, as you know, has been in a bunker preparing nonstop. He's one of the most prepared men in history for this debate. This is as good as you will ever see Joe Biden tonight. I, yeah. And if he does not do well, what does that tell you about it?
It's downhill from there.
A
Yep.
So let me ask you this. When was the last time, outside of Joe Biden, when was the last time you ever heard about legal drugs being injected into the system of a president or presidential candidate before an election, before a debate? When's the last time you heard that? Because I've never heard that.
B
Well, I've never heard it.
A
Never heard it. Listen to this story. This is from the New York Post. Former President Trump has claimed that President Biden will be pumped up on drugs to enhance his performance on Thursday night's debate.
His assertions have been dismissed by some segments of the media as campaign bluster. But private doctors to the rich and famous tell the Post that VIP's often use drug cocktails and other treatments give themselves an edge. These things can include peptides, infusion for a boost of brain function, botox to avoid sweaty brows, and yes, sometimes even a shot of b twelve in the butt.
They just need that energy. And the side. Without the side effects of caffeine or illicit drugs, modern medicine can do many amazing things to enhance performance in pressure cooker environments. So here's what a presidential candidate looking for a boost might take before the big night on the CNN debate. Okay, so they're talking about all, all of these things that you can do to enhance your performance.
I've never seen this before.
Wait, what?
C
I know especially that they're just kind of justifying it and saying it's normal. I mean, at some level, like I, you know, I woke up today a little tired. I don't know, I just did it. So I did pop one of these performance enhancing drugs in the shape of a Red Bull.
A
Red Bull.
C
Now, I don't know, that's somewhat, I think people have coffee, they have. There's some level that when you want to get up for a big event, you're going to maybe do that. But like when you start, you start injecting yourself with stuff to get through a speech like, or a debate. I mean, that is.
B
I would be surprised though, if it's something as innocuous as b twelve, right? I'd be really surprised.
A
No, they say, they say Adderall can be used, but peptides are biggest. Uh, they also said there was something else. An n. What was it? Nads. Uh, that work on your cells at the basic level and can impact your brain cells, personality and cognitive areas. People who have been on heavy doses of ADHD or anxiety medication are finding they can set them aside and end up feeling much better with nads. Um, I mean, it, what.
C
This reminds me of, I was, I was in high school and I, and we were at a basketball game and I decided to take no dose before the game.
This is not a good idea. But I ran around like a maniac for 40 minutes. I looked like I was, I had no, I did not even approach being tired. I think my heart partially exploded during the game. But like, this is not what you're supposed to do.
A
Do you remember, do you remember when we were on tour and I think we were up in Maine and it was like towards the end of a grueling month of tour and I was just so tired. And you said, try a red bull. And I had never had a Red Bull before and I think I might have had two before I went on stage. I got on stage and I was like, I'm completely out of control.
C
That's what I was going to say. You better have some experience with these things. We should really should have Jeffy in here for this conversation, but you should really have experience with these. If you're going to go inject yourself or take Adderall or whatever you need to know, you better know what it's going to do to you before you.
B
Get on stage and what happens on the downside too, you need to know that as well because when that stuff leaves your system, you crash just as hard.
A
Okay. So what is the most likely outcome of tonight's debate?
C
I think the most likely outcome to tonight's debate is that Donald Trump wins it, but it doesn't really move the needle all that much on the election. That's what I think is the most likely. He's probably going to be better.
I think he's learned lessons from the first debate last time.
Biden will have his bad moments. I think Trump will do pretty well. This is a good format for Trump. He's pretty good at it. I think he'll do well. But at the end of the day, I mean, study after study has shown that these debates typically don't make long lasting impacts as far as the outcome of the election. And when you're in June, I think that really applies.
A
Yeah.
Is there a second debate already lined up and agreed to?
B
There is, but I'd be surprised because if he does poorly, they won't want to do it again, especially closer to the election. But if he does well, I don't think they're going to want to chance it again.
C
Right.
B
I think either way, the second one's in jeopardy.
C
Second 1 September 10, too, which is more, usually that's the very, maybe the very first debate.
A
Right.
C
Like you would think it wouldn't be the last one.
A
Okay. All right. Hang on. Let me put my Jack Carr hat on here for just a second and let write a little, write a little fiction. I didn't realize the second one was in September.
Hmm. So you have one before the nomination and then long before so you could make changes. You have, you have, you have one way before he's nominated and then one in September.
Hmm.
Huh.
All right. Back in a minute. Join us tonight. What, stu, you don't understand that I.
C
May notice the detail there. No.
A
What was the, did you get it, Pat?
B
I don't know. Are you saying that they're preparing to replace him if it doesn't go well? Yeah.
C
Okay.
Just the separation around. Okay.
A
Yeah.
C
That's where I thought you were going initially, but maybe I thought, yeah, yeah.
A
No. All right. Let me talk to you about the burn a launcher. Unless you've done some pretty, you know, have some pretty serious issues, you don't, you don't own guns because you're hoping to use one on somebody someday. No. You do it because you hope to never use them, but they're there in case. Well, that covers a wide range of emergency situations where violence is called for, but it doesn't cover all those situations, because sometimes, let's say you're in a car driving through the city, and now your car is surrounded by Hamas protesters, is pounding on the glass. Oh, what are you gonna do? You gotta shoot them? No. You gonna drive over them? No. But with my burning launcher, I could roll down my window just a little bit and stick that out and then pull the trigger. And within 60ft, I can, I can put people down on the ground with just a little tear gas. I'm just defending myself. I'm just moving on. I didn't want to hurt anybody. Of course not.
I'm sorry. But my wife has a burn a launcher. I have one in our car. She carries one and I'm sorry. We're going to use it. If I feel threatened, we're going to put you down on the ground. Burna byrna.com glenn. You don't need a license for it. It's legal in all 50 states.

Well, your home is your castle. And normally how you protect castles is putting in giant moat around your property. Probably not great with your hoa. Uh, maybe the city might have a little issue with that as well. Where's the freedom in this country these days? Um, but even if you could put a moat around it, it's not going to stop a criminal who has the, the right scheme up his sleeve for finding a way to take your home away from you, or at least stealing a bunch of money, using your home's equity to get it. And this affects people who've been paying their bills. Like, you know, a lot of times we see these things happen. It's like people who, uh, I don't know, are, you know, breaking the rules and all this, like these are, this is, they're going after the people who are the most likely to be buttoned up right, people who've been playing paying mortgages for 30 years. Years. It's called home title theft. And this is the fastest growing crime in America for a while. It's unfortunately one of the least known. But if you want this, you want to avoid this, you want to avoid this happening to your family, you need home title protection.
If no one's walking, watching out for your title, well, then it's just really a matter of time until one of these thieves targets you. It's happening. It's real. It's been happening across the country for a while now. So don't fall prey to these thieves. Go to hometitle lock.com. hometitle Lock Lock.com lock up your title. Use the code blaze. They will send you a complete scan of your home's title and you'll get the first 30 days of triple lock home title protection for free. We just had someone on our staff have their home title stolen. This is like happening to real people. Hometitle lock.com hometitle lock.com dot the promo code is blaze.

You know, if I were on the Trump campaign and we were talking about the debate tonight, I would give him the same advice that I gave him a little while ago. Economy. Economy.
And relate to the viewer, forget about everybody else, relate directly to the viewer on how you're going to start stopping this inflation and getting prices under control and securing our board order, et cetera, et cetera. But Donald Trump is not necessarily that guy when he's at performance level.
That's not his, that's not his style. And the most important advice I think you can give to somebody like Donald Trump is the advice that they gave Reagan.
Let Reagan be Reagan.
Trump's gotta be Trump. And if all of the advice that I or others have said, if I were on his campaign and I was advising him tonight, I, I would say, don't let any of these things stop you from being you. It's gotta flow from you.
He's got good instincts, generally speaking. But I think Pat's liar, liar, pants on fire might be his approach tonight.
Laura Trump joins us. In just a second, she's gonna be talking about what her dad is up to tonight, how she thinks it's going to go, and what the strategy might be next.

Hello, America. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Tonight is a big night. It's, you know, kind of a really strangely timed Super bowl of politics.
Tonight, the two challengers face off, Donald Trump and Joe Biden on CNN.
How's that going to go? What is Donald Trump's plan?
What is Joe Biden's plan? Who has the strategy to win? Which one can connect with the american people?
Laura Trump, the co chair of the RNC, also daughter of the president, joins us. Us in 60 seconds. Stand by.
Right now life is really busy. I get that. Sometimes it feels like, you know, from the moment you open your eyes until the moment you finally close your eyes and go to sleep, it's just chaos.
Everything you know in between, your eyes opening and closing, just a blur.
You have to find the time, though, to deal with some of the things that, you know, might cause you to lose your house or I to lose, you know, your money and everything you've worked for in this economy. It is so tough. People are now saying they can't afford their rent payments. 61%.
If you are in a situation where you're behind because you've got high interest credit cards and you own a house, let your house work for you. I just want you to call and just see if americanfinancing.org can help you. They've been saving people about $10,000 a year just by making the house work for you to get out of those high interest credit cards. It's americanfinancing.org dot. Call them now. Laura Trump, welcome to the program. It's glad to have you. We're glad to have you here.
E
Oh, well, good morning. Thank you. Great to be with you.
A
Thank you. So I have to ask this question on the RNC quickly. The RNC is loaded with people that are not really don't have necessarily the best interest in mind for the republican party and conservative values. I was so glad to see that you were the co chair. Are you cleaning house on some of these people?
And are we doing enough to ensure the integrity of this election?
E
Well, I was going to change one word you had in that.
A
Oh, is she there? We lost her.
Is it just me, stu?
C
No, we don't hear her either. I don't know.
A
Shoot.
C
Cut out there maybe on the line.
A
Call her back. While we're waiting, is there anything from the Supreme Court that's coming down now?
C
Yes, we got, we have a couple of decisions out so far, both by gorsuch and five, four rulings. In both cases, it was the liberals against him. One of them had Barrett as a dissent, one of them had Kavanaugh as a dissent, as well as the liberals. So. But both five fours. The first one was Ohio v. Epa. This was when they paused an EPA rule that was designed to cut pollution that might affect neighboring states.
They just. There's not a final ruling here.
A
This is the chevron.
C
No, this is. This is their.
A
Another one.
C
Yep. They're pausing the ruling. They didn't make, like, a final determination, but while it's going through the courts, they, they basically paused the rule. And then another one about. It's related to opioids, Purdue pharma and their bankruptcy plan.
A
Yeah. Okay. All right. Can we get Laura back on?
I mean, it's just kind of an important day to have her on. By the way, I'm on with Don Junior this, this afternoon on, on his podcast, triggered.
He's invited me on today as a, as a guest. I have more questions for him than he could possibly have for me.
C
Right. What are you going to tell him on this day?
A
You know what? I got it. I got to tell you, Don, here's the strategy tonight.
C
I, I will say we have a full out phone failure here, Glenn, at the studios.
A
You've got to be gone. Yeah.
C
So I don't think we're going to be getting around any time in the coming weeks.
A
You've got to be kidding me. Yeah.
C
People are running around, like, panicked. My gosh, chickens with their head cut off. But.
A
Well, tonight we are covering the election and we're giving you full coverage. We start at about 730 Eastern time.
Our coverage will begin. We're going to be talking to all of the panels. We're announcing some really cool stuff. Blaze TV is upgrading yet again, and you'll find out about that tonight. I know that Steve days is in for it. The only thing I really like, I really like about this is not all of us agree on things.
C
Yeah, that's a lot of different perspectives from really across the conservative libertarian spectrum. I will be hosting it along with Jill Savage, Glenn. So I don't know if that disappoints.
A
You, but no, Jill is, Jill's enough to make up for you.
C
Okay, good.
Yeah, it's going to be great. I mean, I went through the sort of game plan, the rundown for today's show or tonight's show, and it is extensive. There is a lot going on. We have a lot of really great voices coming on. You're going to be able to hear all sorts of analysis. And not only we have an hour and a half pre show, then we have the entire debate. You'll be able to watch right on Blaze TV or on the YouTube channel. And then we have, I don't know if it's an hour, an hour and a half post game show. So go to YouTube.com studoesamerica. Blazetv.com debate. Use the code debate. You'll get $30 off your subscription.

So I am just watching on my screen here all of the producers desperately trying to restart the phone system and hoping that will happen in your 20 years with me.
How many times has our phone system gone down?
C
I'd say four or five.
A
It feels like I was gonna say five maximum. And have you noticed they've been recently?
Yeah. Okay, she's back. Okay, good. She's back. Laura, I'm so sorry about the trouble with the phone. I don't know what happened.
It's probably social media. Anyway, Laura Trump, the daughter in law of Donald Trump.
We were talking about the RNC and cleaning things up, and all I heard from you, Laura, was, I want to change one word from what you said, and then we lost you.
E
Oh, my gosh. Well, hello. I'm back.
A
Hi. Okay, good. Thank you.
E
So you asked me, Glenn. You said that the RNC was a place that had a bunch of people there who maybe didn't have the same goals as we do as conservatives. And I said I was going to correct you and say we used to be. We are no longer. Because day one, after Michael Whatley and I were elected as chair and co chair of the RNC, that was our first priority, was to go in there and really eliminate the fat, so to speak. We got rid of a lot of people who, quite frankly, had probably been there for too long. You know, a new CEO comes into an organization, you want to bring in your own team, your own people. And that's exactly what we did. And I can promise you that the Trump campaign and the RNC are a cohesive unit unlike anything we've ever seen. I worked in the previous two elections for my father in law, and I can tell you we worked alongside the RNC as the Trump campaign. We never were one unit. We are one team right now. And the beauty of that is it allows the money donated to the campaign and the RNC to go farther. We don't have multiple people doing the same job. We have one person doing one job. And that's a great thing. You asked about election integrity. What we have done, I think, is really the most comprehensive election integrity program. And maybe no one's ever done anything like this before, but truly, in the history of american politics, we can never repeat 2020 again. Glenn, that was a disaster. You have millions of Americans who have a lot of questions that were unanswered.
And quite frankly, if you even ask a question about 2020 or called an election denier, you're supposed to feel bad.
It is integral to who we are as a country to have faith in our electoral process. And our goal at the RNC is whether you're voting for a Republican, a Democrat, or a third party candidate, when you go cast a ballot in the United States of America. You should have full confidence that your vote matters and that your vote counts. And that is why we have put together this program. It's 100,000 volunteers that Michael Whatley, the chairman and I have pledged. We want to make sure that we have trained poll watchers but also trained poll workers. And this is very important for people to understand. For 40 years, there was a consent decree placed upon the RNC. We could not train poll workers. Glenn, imagine who was training all the poll workers. If the RNC wasn't, it was the DNC. Ever wonder why things are so crazy in all these polling locations? Yeah, we can now train people and we want you on the team. Protect the vote.com for your listeners is where you go again, protect the vote.com dot. We have people who are going to be working in the tabulation centers where the mail and ballots come in. We also want, and I think this is probably the most important key here, legal experts, if you're a lawyer out there, you don't have to be trained in election law. We will train you. We need to make sure that we're not waiting a day, a week or a month after a problem to address it. We have to be in the room at the moment and strike while the iron is hot and strike when we see a problem or any nefarious activity.
And I think our message from the RNC is, and the Democrats, by the way, hate when I say this. So I'm going to say it loud and clear right here on your show. Gwen, if you are a person who is going to cheat in an election, we will find you. We'll track you down, we'll prosecute you to the full extent of the law. If you're a non citizen voting illegally in our elections, we'll find you, we'll prosecute you to the full extent of the law, and that means you are leaving this country. It is not worth it. Don't do it. We need a free, fair and transparent election. And I believe when every legal vote is counted, Donald Trump will be reelected as the 47th president.
A
Well, I think there is, if, I think if it is a fair election, I think he is going to win. I think people have had enough of it. It, they've had enough of the lies. They've had enough of just little things like, no, there is no inflation. It's getting better.
The gas prices and the foods prices. Yesterday, Janet Yellen said, they don't surprise me. That's we've always had to pay more for food. Are you out of your mind?
What is the strategy tonight for the president to hit and speak plainly to those people?
E
Well, I think the problem that Joe Biden has is right now we're living in Joe Biden's America, Glenn, and it's a disaster. To your point. The american people are struggling. People's lives have gotten harder, not easier. People are having a problem making basic ends meet and putting food on the table for their family and filling up their gas tanks and feeling safe walking in their own communities. And Joe Biden's going to have to answer for that. And I think the amazing opportunity we have as Americans right now is that we have the opportunity, unlike any time in modern history, to compare two presidents and two presidencies. A man, when Donald Trump was in office, people remember how much different their life was. Things have really gone basically 180 degrees in the wrong direction on so many different fronts. And I think you're going to hear that from Donald Trump tonight. And I think it's going to be up to, unfortunately, Donald Trump to call out Joe Biden. Because do we think Jake Tapper, Dana Bash is going to do it? I don't think so.
A
No.
E
I think that is going to be his role tonight, is to make sure he holds Joe Biden accountable. Joe, why was your first decision shutting down the Keystone XL pipeline, rendering us energy independent, no longer jacking up the gas prices, causing inflation through the roof, allowing Russia and Iran to enrich themselves, to cause these wars in Europe and in the Middle east? Why hasn't your borders, are Kamala Harris done anything at the southern border? Why do you have 10 million plus Americans in here? Donald Trump's ready and he actually is going, I've been ready for this my whole life. He doesn't need a week off to do whatever the heck they're doing in the woods at Camp David for Joe Biden, he's ready to go. He's prepared. He's president. He knows what to do. He knows how to save this country.
A
I will tell you that.
I've never, like you said, I've never seen this before, where we have an AB comparison. We have two presidents running. We know what each of them did, what each of them said the other was going to do and what did what.
And I just think this should be fairly easy for your father in law just to stand up and say, I don't care what your experts say. I look at the experts of the american people. They can't afford groceries.
They can't afford rent. They can't afford a new house. And you keep saying everything is fine. I hear them, see them, and we'll fix it. What's your plan?
I mean, it's just so easy.
E
Yeah, well, that's right. But here's the problem, Glenn, is that the mainstream media has lowered the bar so much for Joe Biden that if he even manages to walk out on the stage and stay upright, they're basically going to say, this guy was a great success. Look, Joe Biden can hack in on a stage with Donald Trump, but he really does have the problem of really having to answer questions for the american people and tell people, well, why is life so much harder for me? And what's your plan to get us out of it? The answer is he doesn't have a plan. The Democrats have nothing. We know they're running this election on abortion and January 6 because they can't point to a single policy decision they have made that has made anyone's life better in America. And so, you know, it's a three on one debate. We all know that. And if we're honest, it's really Donald Trump debating CNN. Because I doubt that Joe Biden, even with all the little clips they probably tried to set him up for over the past week, is going to manage to do much of anything. But they really have lowered the bar so much. So I think it's going to be up to Donald Trump to keep him honest and hold him accountable and actually call him out on so much of this. As we're discussing.
A
Laura, could I ask you to hold for 60 seconds? I got to do a commercial and then come right back to you. One more question. Absolutely. Great. Thanks. We're talking to Laura Trump, co chair of the RNC and daughter in law of Donald Trump, talking about the debate, which happens tonight, by the way. Don't miss it. Now let me tell you about our sponsor. It's tunneled to Towers.
Sometimes the cost of doing one's duty comes very, very high. There are heroes in this country and abroad, service members and first responders alike, who give everything of themselves up to and including the ultimate price in their service to the nation. We've got, we've got illegal aliens staying in five star hotels in New York City, but we have homeless veterans.
Does that seem right in America?
Here's what I want you to do. Would you donate $11 a month to the tunnel to Towers organization? That's t two, t.org. t the number two, t.org. they are the ones that are helping the homeless veterans. They are taking the ones who have lost their lives on our city streets or in foreign countries, and they are paying off the mortgages so their family don't, they don't lose the house after losing their, their loved one. They are an amazing organization. It's tunnel to towers t the number two t.org t two t ten second station id and back with Laura.
So is President Trump ready tonight for what I think their strategy is going to be is just call him a felon and get him riled up and get him talking about, you know, the 2020 election and just pissing him off.
Is he ready for that? For that tactic?
He seems to be walking with a different swagger in his step recently where I just, I see the old fun Donald Trump coming back.
E
Yeah, no, my gosh. Well, of course he's ready for it. And I think people have to look at really that press conference that he gave my father in law right after that clown show of a trial downtown Manhattan, Alvin Bragg's, you know, show down there with the 34 felony counts. Donald Trump came out the next day, Glenn, and really was very calm and collected and concise and spoke to the american people in a very direct way. And I think that's the Donald Trump you can look forward to seeing tonight. Now they're going to try and make sure that they don't have any of the moments like the epic moments we had in 2016 where, remember at that debate when Hillary Clinton said, it's a good thing Donald Trump's not in charge of our Department of Justice, and then he said, because you'd be in jail, they're trying to prevent that. Joe Biden cannot handle that. Glenn, let's be very honest here. But, yeah, he knows that they can't talk about the things that have been happening in this country to the american people. The crime crisis around the country, the fentanyl crisis that, by the way, is still ongoing and killing our youth by 100,000 a year that nobody talks about anymore. They can't talk about any of that with him. So, yeah, they got a rile on the up. They got to get him worked up. He is so focused and he understands what needs to happen. And I think you're right. I think it is a different swagger and the, the convicted felon route that they're trying to go that obviously it's not working for the american people.
No, Glenn, look at the fact that 48 hours after that conviction, we raised $70 million, and 30% of that was from people who had never, ever, even in 2016 or 20, donated to Donald Trump. They're sending him voters, so that's not going to work. Good luck to them if that's all they have tonight. We'll see.
A
Yeah. Stay focused on the economy and people's lives and laugh all the rest of it off because I think the american people know that it's a joke, know that it's a travesty and a clown show. Laura, thank you so much. Thank you for what you're doing at the RNC. Keep up the good work and best of luck. We'll be praying for your father in law tonight.
E
I appreciate it. Thanks so much, glenna.
A
You bet. Bye bye.
All right, we're going to go over some of the Supreme Court cases that have just come out.
There's some more rulings.
I'm hoping that they're saving all the big ones for tomorrow so they don't interfere with a political process tonight. But we'll see more in just a second. Seconds. Stand by.

Time, pain that we live with comes from inflammation in our joints. It can start out small or slowly and it builds over time or sometimes it just can hit us suddenly over the head and we have to deal with it. It from then onward.
That's the problem because it can get you really down. You're like, I can't live this way the rest of my life. I know. I've had it happen in my life. There was a time I was reminded this morning of having to get my wife up out of bed at 05:00 in the morning to button my shirt because I couldn't use my hands enough to button my shirt.
It was embarrassing and horrible. And I'm glad I have forgotten those times because I don't have that pain anymore because of relief factor. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. Steve days with his pre debate thoughts coming up in about a half an hour from now. Stu has been looking at the release of the Supreme Court rulings.
Anything or any of the big ones dropping today? Stu?
C
Well, as you might expect, they weren't going to drop the Trump immunity one right before the debate. So that did not come out. That would have been surprising. We should expect that potentially tomorrow as the last day unless they decide to add a day. Can, they can do that if they really want to. But it's pretty rare, as you point out, Glenn, there's four releases here today. You've got Ohio v. EPA, which was a Gorsuch written decision. It was a five four. Yet the liberals, along with Amy Coney Barrett dissenting.
Basically they paused an EPA rule that meant to, was meant to cut pollution that might affect neighboring states. So power planted in one state, it's theoretically the pollution going to the next state. They basically paused that EPA rule as it winds through the courts.
Then there was Harrington v. Purdue Pharma. This is another five four decision. Gorsuch wrote it. This is a pretty interesting one. The breakdown is fascinating. The dissent here was Roberts, Kagan and Kavanaugh.
And then you had Jackson and Sotomayor in the majority of a five four decision.
This was base. This is picking apart the bankruptcy deal that the Purdue pharma situation with all the OAP and the Sackler family that was decided and basically because every party didn't consent to is sort of a third party forced agreement.
This is sort of bad for in some ways both sides of this. The Sackler family had a, an immunity from, from lawsuits after this was done. And they lose that here. So it's not good for them.
Also maybe not good for the people who would be getting the billions of dollars distributed to them because they will no longer now have that agreed upon solution. So it was basically the dissent written by Kavanaugh was, you know, this is terrible for these families who will no longer get this money. Gorsuch said basically, like if they want these new powers, they just got to pass the law to have them. They can't just have them. So that's where it kind of found fell, I think, you know, you have people like maybe Katanji, Brown, Jackson who was agreeing to this largely because of the Sackler element. They didn't want Sackler protected from this. So it's kind of a really complicated and a weird alignment on that one.
A
You know, everything that Nancy Pelosi is saying about the Supreme Court on, you know, how it's been hijacked or whatever, whatever. There are weird mixed bedfellows in a lot of these decisions.
This is a, this is not always party lines. It's, it's very different. Very different.
C
Yeah.
A
Anyway, go ahead.
C
Yep. A couple more.
One is an SEC case, which is pretty, actually, I think has some larger implications potentially and in a good way. This is written by John Roberts. And it was a six three decision on party lines, if you will. But it was about security fraud charges against a guy who went through, he was charged with security fraud and they put him through an SEC hearing. Right. And his point was, actually, you can't do this. I need to go through a jury trial.
You need to file a lawsuit and let me go through the legal system. Well, the court found that, yes, you have to go through a legal system. You don't get these like, sort of like, you know, three letter agency courts that are binding in these cases.
A
That is fantastic. It is. That is really good.
C
I think that could be really good. Now, it is limited, the ruling's limited to civil fraud type cases. So it might not be as expansive as maybe you and I would want it. But I doubt, I do think it takes a nice chunk out of the power of these agencies.
A
Yes, I agree.
C
Final, final one is the one that we talked about earlier in the program that was released. You know, apparently by mistake yesterday. It's the abortion case in Idaho. Essentially what you get there is a punt, not much. They didn't decide anything. They basically said they shouldn't have taken it in the first place. And for now, they will still have to provide these, quote, unquote, emergency abortions in Idaho.
A
Well, the supreme Court did what I hoped they would do, and that is hold anything controversial until tomorrow. Tomorrow.
So it didn't affect and dominate tonight's debate. But thank you for that. But we'll see tomorrow all of the big ones. All right. You know, I've been talking about the debate, and I think America knows now because they see it in their own life. They see it in their own cities.
They see it with their jobs. They see it every time they buy groceries or gas. The lies that there is no, there is no inflation, that it's getting better, that these are all normal, that the gas price was $5 under Donald Trump. That's actually what Biden has said. It was $5 and inflation was 9% when he took office. No, it wasn't. It was 1.4.
Gas was just over $2, not five.
But I think people are tired of all of these things. And I really believe if you're trying to convince the american people not to believe their eyes, you're going to lose. Here's my orcas. Yesterday there was a press conference. Here he is. He's asked about 400 border crossers with ties to ISIS. Listen to this. DHS confirms that at least 400 migrants with potential ISIS ties recently crossed into the United States.
D
That is incorrect. Tell us why that reporting is incorrect. We do not have identified 400 people with potential ISIS ties.
And let me again assure you that individuals who are identified to have those ties would pose a concern to us from a public safety and a security perspective, and they would be priorities for detention and removal.
A
That initial NBC report, inaccurate.
F
Of the 400 potential ISIS ties?
D
I think it is inaccurate.
A
I think it is inaccurate. Okay, here's cut for american safety.
D
Let me reiterate the foundational point, that the safety and security of the american people are our highest priority. If an individual is of concern from a national security or a public safety perspective, they are a priority for detention.
A
Does anybody believe that the first story from NBC was false?
Now, it might be, but who has more credibility?
And that's saying something because it's NBC.
Do you believe that american security and safety is the highest priority?
Here he is on the border. Cut five.
If this executive order has worked as well as you're saying it's worked this.
C
Morning, why not just do it a.
A
Year and a half ago and save the Democrats all the kind of pushback they've had on the border?
D
Well, let's remember the chronology here. On day one of the president's administration, he presented Congress with the legislative proposal to fix our immigration system. Up until May of last year, title 42, the public health order, was in place that prevented people from entering the United States. With some exceptions, it provided the government with the authority to expel people from the United States. Essentially, the border was closed.
A
Border was essentially closed.
Then who are all of these mysterious people on our streets?
Who are all these new Americans that just popped up?
You know, could is large of a population. Now it rivals, what, 20 of our states, the population that's just been imported and the border was closed.
Huh.
And here's President Biden, the spokesperson for the campaign, talking about tonight what Donald Trump is going to do.
C
Listen, Trump often uses the phrases Biden, Biden, migrant crime and talking about immigration, he'll likely use that phrase on Thursday. But the question is, how will the president respond if he doesn't?
Yeah, listen, I mean, Donald Trump, there's.
A
No tragedy that Donald Trump won't try.
C
To exploit for his own personal gain. Obviously, every last one of these is a tragedy.
A
We understand that.
C
The president understand that. But we're not going to let Donald Trump misconstrue the facts.
A
So Donald Trump is going to exploit the tragedies by saying, you're allowing murderers, rapists, you know, pedophiles, into our country.
ISIS members.
You're letting them cross the border and they're causing all kinds of trouble and mayhem.
And somehow or another, I'm exploiting that.
That is honestly like somebody on the deck of the Titanic saying, guys, there's not enough lifeboats for all of us. Oh, don't exploit this ship sinking by saying that.
What are you going to do about it?
Now here's Chuck Todd on Joe Biden's performance tonight.
D
Look, that Joe Biden was very disciplined. He needed to push back on the.
A
Notion that he was talk too much.
D
Joe Biden, the vice presidential debater, I.
A
Thought was a really effective debater both.
D
Against Paul Ryan and against Sarah Palin. He was very disciplined. He's really good at moving message. But this version is not the same guy.
A
I don't think he's as nimble.
C
Something about the word nimble used in this context is really funny because that.
A
Is not just as nimble.
C
That is one way to describe it.
A
One thing that never is used to describe Joe Biden would be nimble.
C
It's really funny. The three toed sloth. Just not as nimble as we previously seen in the 100 meters dash. I don't know why.
That's a great.
Sometimes you just gotta give it up to these people. That's a great word to bust out in that circumstance.
A
You know, I went to school with Stephen Hawking, but he's not quite as nimble.
All right, okay, back in just a second.
I want my family to be safe, full stop. I also want to do business with a security company that I can trust. Security in my family is very, very important.

Are opinions weighing you down?
Call in and let it out.
888727 B E C K. This is the Glenn Beck program.
A
This is the Glenn Beck program. My name is Glenn Beck. I'm glad you're listening. Thank you so much. If you're a new listener, just know you're going to hate my ever living guts and this program for about six weeks. And then you start to go numb inside and you just kind of give up. And then you're like, I don't care what I'm listening to. And you'll be a longtime listener. So thank you for tuning in. And for those of you who are already numb inside, you didn't really have a choice. So it's just too much effort to change the channel. You know what I mean? There's a couple of things going on. Nate Silver has said that it's not a toss up anymore. He's putting as the heavy favorite of Donald Trump to win in November. This is, I think you're going to see a renewed Donald Trump tonight. He is walking with more of a swagger.
I think he sees the way this is coming and sees that it's all falling apart for the left.
Also, he's opened up a four point lead over Biden. Now, these polls don't really mean anything, a, because the election is not happening today. But more importantly, this is a nationwide poll, a nationwide poll. We don't let people nationwide like that.
That's a true democracy.
Anyway. He has opened up a four point lead. If you look at registered voters, he opens up a six point advantage.
But registered voters are not the same as likely voters. So we'll see. That kind of goes into this, this other story that the federalist had that said, the support of Trump from black and brown Americans appears to be visceral and based on genuine personal fondness of the former president, something Biden could never achieve. Well, he's not as nimble.
I belong to a gym where membership is heavily black and brown. A couple of years ago, I started wearing a let's go, Brandon t shirt to some of my workouts. Whenever I did, I couldn't walk more than a few steps without getting a fist bump.
And they're talking about now how black voters are peeling away from the Democrats, and they should. I mean, what have the Democrats done for the poor?
What have they done for the Hispanics that came here the right way and wanted to change their life and wanted to get away from all the madness and corruption? What has he done for you?
Donald Trump is, you know, he's not pandering to people.
He just frees the system up so everybody has a shot.
That's what America is supposed to be. Now, whether people who are black and brown sit it out or they actually show that support by voting, we'll see in November.
All right, we have Mister Steve days.
He's joining us next. He's going to give us his preview to tonight's showdown.
D
The Glenn Beck program.

steve Days is joining us now. He does the Steve days show, cleverly titled, and that follows this program, also cleverly titled the Glenn Beck program.
And he goes from noon to two eastern on Blaze TV. Welcome, Steve. How are you?
F
Good morning. How you doing, brother?
A
I'm doing pretty good. I'm doing pretty good.
I wish we were going to see each other. I know you're, are you in Dallas now?
F
I am. And I just took, literally, I'm 50 years old now. I just took the hottest morning walk of my entire life. So congratulations to me.
E
Yes.
A
It is nasty, isn't it?
Heat in Dallas? It is nasty.
All right. So, Steve, what, what do you think the president should do? Do?
And then what do you think he's going to do?
F
Speaker one Glenn, I honestly don't know because I don't know.
You know, I mean, I assume we're talking about President Biden. Are we talking about President Trump? Which president?
A
Trump? Trump.
F
Okay. In his case, I really don't know what to do because I'm not sure what condition his opponent will be in.
I mean, it is.
And I know this is going to sound snotty. I really don't mean it. This is seriously where we are right now. I have no idea if the White House apothecary has one more doctor feel good in him. And so we get one of those performances from Joe where you don't see, like, his irises and he doesn't blink for like 40 minutes at a time, but he can at least get his lines out. And if that happens, then, you know, you can attack him. All right. On the other hand, I think it's, I think it's possible that at any point he could scream out, how can you have your pudding if you don't eat your me? And at that time, I don't know what to do with that. And just to show you how unsettled this night is. We could be sitting here in the first, say, 45 minutes of this thing and we're watching Trump do what he did the first debate against him the last time that turned people off. And he's just pestering him and attacking him. I go, no, oh, no. Oh, no, oh, no. And then all of a sudden, Joe Biden looks up and just says, this is the big one, alice, and the whole thing changes. That could happen at absolutely any moment. We've got a, we've got one guy who has decided that he's fully embraced his grand Torino, okay? He's fully embraced the get off your lawn Persona. And the other guy is in stage two, maybe three, dementia. And so, brother, it's a roll of the dice, minute by minute. Let me tell you what I think would be a disaster for Biden is I know people are like, well, Trump's going to have to spend some time arguing with the moderator.
I think that's a disaster for Biden. Here's why. Any of us that have ever had family members that are battling early stages of dementia, it is asking them to come in and out of a conversation that is the hardest. The more they have familiarity, the more they're consistently engaged, the more likely you are to keep them alert. So if you got a 1015 minutes back and forth between Jake Capper, Dana Bash and Donald Trump, and then suddenly one of them looks over at Joe Biden, says, mister president, what do you think? And he just has nothing. I mean, that could be a devastating moment that 70 million people watch live tonight.
A
You're bringing up stuff I didn't have even think about, you know, and they're not happy to. It's not good to think about the, the, the bullying is, is a worry only because, you know, Donald Trump. I mean, he goes after the people that he's on stage with. That's his mo.
But if Joe Biden looks like a sweet old man, you're right, you're right. That could be a disaster for Donald Trump.
F
Consider, though, what we are saying in this analysis that you and I share.
We are saying we are unsure if the man carrying the nuclear football, who presides in the most powerful office in the world, where other nations have weapons of mass destruction pointed at us currently right now. All right. Where a border is wide open and a black swan event is ten minutes away at any point in time. We are unsure. Okay. If he is capable of putting up with, you know, middle defense of himself.
A
Yeah, yeah, right.
F
That's just amazing to me. It's amazing to me.
A
My advice for the last few days on with Donald Trump has been, no matter what happens, just talk to the american people and recognize the pain they're in, because I don't think there's anything else that anybody is going to care about. They're just not going to care about, you lied. You did this. You know, this what's happened in 2020, nobody's going to care about any of that. The one that will win tonight will be the one that can look at the people no matter what's happening, and say, you know, look, it's, it's, you can't afford food, you can't afford to buy a new house, you can't afford, 61% of Americans can't afford to make their rent right now. Do you want more of that?
Because I know how to make it stop, and I'll make it stop.
F
I share that 10,000%.
If I were, you know, if I were running that campaign or if I was doing debate prep with him, the one thing I would want to make sure is a certainty must happen this evening is at some point, Donald Trump needs to look into that camera, similar what you just said, and he needs to reach the mean tweet voters that he lost before, and he doesn't need to look weak isn't anything of that nature. He needs to show empathy. And that's what you just described.
A
Yes.
F
At some point, you need to give them a bridge to move away from the emotional turn off. They view your Persona and the actual results of what matters in their daily lives and how they live. And, you know, if you're in my situation, I've got one daughter I just married off another one I just moved out, a son who's going through my senior year or his senior year. And, I mean, used cars are 25% more than they were, mortgage payments are 100% higher than they were. And it can't be like, hey, this doofus over here screwed the whole thing up. I mean, he could do that at some point, but at some point, he needs to look in the camera and show empathy with the american people. They need to see a real person there and not just the caricature the media has painted, which, frankly, too often he verbs into on his zone.
A
So. And I know he's capable of this.
F
I'm going to be on mysteries about him with me. Glenn is going back to when he first wanted to run for president, and I get a call out of the blue in 2013 from unknown number. I pick it up because those are usually only really good or really bad. You know me, I'm going to gamble on good Donald Trump just calling me out of the blue. Okay? And I never, I mean, you spend any time around him on a one on one or small group wedding, the man is remarkably charming in these settings. Okay? And there's, there's got to be some way to communicate this in a corporate setting as a president or presidential candidate. There's going to be a, there's got to be a mode between, I'm just riffing about Hannibal Lecter at my rallies, or, you know, I'm just combating enemy media, which is enemy media. But at some point, there's got to be a moment here I. Where he can blow up the caricature that he doesn't care about the american people. He's got or doesn't care about anything other than himself. He's got to seek that moment and sees it.
A
I have to tell you, I wish people had seen a moment that I had with him behind the scenes after the election, probably four months after, and he was under attack and called all kinds of names to him. We were standing in Mar a Lago, and I said, how are you doing? And we were getting ready to tape something, and it was just the two of us. I said, how are you doing? And he said, not real good. He said, I can't live with myself. He said, I promised the american people, I promised them that I would fix it. And we were on our way fixing it. And now I lose the election. They've dismantled everything. And all of those people that trusted me have to live through this. I can't. I just can't. I can't take it. And it was this moment of something that was absolutely not about Donald Trump in any way, shape, or form. And it showed to me how much he actually loved the people that voted for him and loved America. And if there was, if there was some way. But I don't think, because he has trained himself over the years, that there's a Donald Trump, the apprentice performer, and then there's the, then there's the Donald Trump who his friends and his family knows, and they don't seem to ever mix, but he's a completely different person.
You don't get, you, you'll get a laugh. You know, he'll, he'll make fun of things or do you know something that he, that you know and he knows is going for a laugh, but he's not a performer in real life. And it's, I don't know how to break that. I don't think you can, but I wish he could tonight.
F
That is exceedingly well said, which is no shock. You're in the radio hall of Fame. But I would look at. I'd look at his children, you know? And you and I have both raised our own share of kids. Okay?
A
Yeah.
F
When your kids get older and adults, there might be. If you're really successful and wealthy, you might be lucky that one of them, if he doesn't like it, hangs around because they want to make sure they got their spot there in the. In the will. Okay? But you don't go. You don't go, you know, a thousand. You don't bat a thousand with your kids if you have not demonstrated, because we're all flawed and his flaws have been on the society pages for all of our lives. Okay? You don't. You don't bat a thousand with your children as adults that they still want to be around you unless you demonstrated the kind of empathy with them growing up at some point, or consistently, even, that you just articulated. Okay?
A
Agree.
F
And with the american people. And I tried to, you know, I made this point all the time during the primary to the DeSantis people. I am 100% convinced the number one issue in this election isn't the economy.
And it's not even the COVID reckoning that I have been clamoring and praying for. It's leadership. The country is clamoring for leadership, okay?
A
And when there is no leader, the people will perish. That's what's happening.
F
Yeah.
A
There's no leadership.
F
Yep. And at some point, an effective leader to get people to follow them, it can't just always be a force of will. At some point, you have to show empathy. I mean, the. One of the wisest decisions God made in my life is making sure I had daughters before I ever had a son. If that order was inverted, man, I would have been a terrible dad to him. I needed the daughters to soften me up, to prepare me to raise a man. Okay? And the same thing is true here. I mean, I didn't have a lot of empathy in me until I had daughters. He needs to show the. We know. We know he can walk into Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and lay down ordinance to a bunch of. Of thugs and terrorist simps. We know this, okay? We know this. We know that he can go there and maybe even to the point of nauseating, you know, he can schmooze Kim Jong un. We know this. Okay? What we need to know and what this segment of suburbanites that I live in, that exists around the country. They're going to decide this thing need to see is that he empathizes this, is that he understands what is going on, what went wrong before, and what needs to happen that they are suffering through. And that's, that's, that connection needs to be made.
A
I want to play something that you produced, that you said, this is not something Donald Trump produced. I produced it, but he should run it.
And I think I agree. I'm going to play the audio. I need to explain what's happening on the screen. If you're just listening to us.
And then we're going to take a quick break, come back and steve, if you will, tell us what President Biden has to do to win tonight. Here's the spot done by Steve days. It's quite simple, folks. We just can't afford four more years of this.
D
Hunter's my heart.
F
He's the most honorable, decent person I know.
A
Hunter Biden has been found guilty on all counts in his federal trial in Wilmington, Delaware.
D
He's the most honorable, decent person I know.
A
At least Biden used to be able to talk. Now he can't even do that.
D
After I signed the pack handle pack at lack act secretary.
But his dimes, all it is there to make sure it may be precise.
Tremendous amount of things you can do. 21st century.
21st century results.
The ministry of Cobol, daughter of Ireland. Daughter of Ireland. You can tell us. A 14 slip on thinking of home.
The daughter of Iceland.
A
It's quite simple, folks. We just can't afford four more years of this.
D
I'm not Donald Trump. And he didn't approve this message, but he should.
A
All during that, you're seeing the stats of how bad things really are for food, energy and everything else. Back in just a minute. Final word from Steve. Jase, first, let me tell you in 60 seconds about my pillow.

Enter the promo code back or call 809 six 3178-009-6317 for this amazing offer. It won't last long. It's mypillow.com 10 seconds. Station Id so, Steve, I won't hold you long because I know you have to get ready for your show here in a few minutes. But what do you think Biden has to do?
F
Survive?
I really don't think there's much of a risk tonight for the Democratic Party, but I think this is, is an exceedingly important moment for Joe Biden. And the reason why is because I think the reason they wanted the earliest presidential debate in history is their convention is a full two months from now.
And if he goes out there and falls on his face, they've got two months to figure this thing out, have an open convention. And I know people are going to say, well, they don't have a device for that. These are Democrats will to power is their device to figure it out.
They just do what they want. And so for Biden, you know, I think this may be the last time we'll see, or the only time we'll see him in Trump. I think if he survives tonight, Trump will get sentenced in a couple weeks and they'll say we're done. Yeah. We're not debating a convicted criminal, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So he's got to survive. And I don't know that he's capable of it. I don't know. I have no clue. Glenn, what is going to happen tonight? I really have no idea.
A
I expect the Biden one that's all hopped up on something that we saw for the state of the union, where he can function for about 60 minutes or 80 minutes and do pretty well.
At least he's not the bumbling, senile old man.
I expect to see that. But it's interesting that you would say that about why they chose this. We were just talking about a couple of hours ago that I really think there was, there's one debate planned right now. I've never seen that in history. Never. I've seen this, this early.
And then the other one is in September right after the convention for the, for the Democrats. It, it says to me that if he doesn't survive, we'll find a way to replace him and introduce the next person. If he does, well, leave it alone and we can cancel that second debate.
F
Yep. Absolutely. 100% and the thing about that state of the union, but it goes back to what I said before, this is different. He was in constant control of that moment as an orator. This is where there's a give and take. There's going to be whole moments of lag where he's not going to be discussed or addressed, especially if Trump starts getting into, with the moderators, which we all know will happen at some point here. I mean, and that's why I don't know what is going to happen. Stop. And also, think about this. These are probably the two most well known, given the nature of media today, most well known presidential candidates in the history of this republic. And we can't say right now we have any clue what's going to happen when these two guys get up on the stage here tonight because of these dynamics.
It's kind of a metaphor for the uncertainty in the country when you stop and think about it.
A
Yeah, it is. It is. Steve, thank you so much. We'll listen for you later and then we'll see you tonight night before and after the debate. Our debate coverage begins with Blaze media tonight. There's some exciting things going on, some new announcements that are going to be happening as well. Blaze media is upping the game yet again, and I think in a very exciting way. You know what I'm talking about, Stu. We are announcing that today.
C
I believe there's a couple of announcements coming tonight.
A
I'm really excited about that.
And, and then we will have the CNN presidential debate, the live coverage. We will do it uninterrupted. So don't give them the ratings. Just watch it on your Blaze app or on your tv with Blaze TV.
And if you, if you're not a member yet, join, just go to blazetv.com debate. Use the promo code. Debate save $30 Stu, what haven't we covered about the, the president? Have we missed anything here?
C
I think we certainly covered a lot of it. We were going to do some more coverage here on YouTube right after the radio show, YouTube.com studiosamerica. A little preview to go through it. But I think it's an interesting question to look at what the reaction is to this when it comes to the bigger picture. We're going to have some sort of reaction. You're going to get the polls after this. You're going to have those moments where this person won, this person lost. This, this is a good moment, this is a bad moment. But at the end of the day, does this make a difference when it comes to November, which is so far away, it won't.
A
If, if nothing dramatic happens tonight, it won't make a difference.
But with these two, anything could happen. All right, we're going to switch to some of the other things that are happening around the world that are vital for you to understand. Next, Glenn Beck, and that's me. Welcome to it. Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's Lear capital.
One of the things that they're going to talk about tonight is inflation. And they're going to talk about, no, it's, it's going down. No, it's not. Yes, it is. No, it's not.
Janet Yellen came out yesterday and said, you know, she just not surprised by the prices at the, uh, she hasn't really even noticed the prices at the grocery store going up. Are you out of your mind?
Are you out of your mind? Are you that out of touch? Yeah, apparently she is. Um, these are the people that are making the decisions on what the value of your dollar is going to be. And they're doing everything they can, uh, to destroy that value of the dollar. It's impoverishing you, uh, and enriching people in the banking system. The big fat cats, they're all getting richer and richer. Everybody else is getting poorer and poorer. Here's the thing. Put yourself on an even playing group field. Make sure you have at least 10% of what you have. Put it in gold or silver. Go right now. Call 800 957 gold. 800 957 gold. And protect what you have.
C
Don't miss a debate preview on YouTube, YouTube.com studosamerica. Right after the radio program, we'll get into everything and then debate coverage tonight on Blaze tv.
A
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. There's a lot of stuff in our show prep today that you can get for free every day in your email box. First thing in the morning, I go through probably anywhere from 50 to 100 stories that we have spent the last 24 hours working on and looking at to get ready for this show every day and give you all of the raw stories, things that we are looking at, things that we don't even have time to talk about but are really, really important and have made it to the top 50 to 100 stories of the day.
Let me just give you the headlines of some of them. You can read about Alito's dissent and how America will regret the court allowing the government to collude with social media. It's a really good story.
The moderator for tonight, Dana Bash, her ex husband was one of the guys that signed the Hunter Biden laptop is a russian collusion thing. So that's, you know, that's not going to go.
Not going to go. Well, new evidence turned over to Congress now disputes Hunter Biden's testimony under oath about a firm. He was asked, you know, were you in business with him? No, I don't think that ever went through. Really. Because you accepted a lot of money from them.
That evidence has just been introduced.
Washington state. The attorney general's office now has put together a hotline for reporting bias incidences that should go as well as it did in Scotland.
But who am I to see? Also, the house is going to withdraw the January 6 committee arguments in the Bannon case. I don't think Steve Bannon should not go to jail. I'm not a fan of Steve Bannon. I don't really like Steve Bannon. I think he's not necessarily the best influence on America or american politics, but he should not go to jail. And I'm glad to see the house go along. Also, there's a story from the hill on JD Vance.
There'd be some disappointment, he says, if he's not chosen, but he can live with it.
Let me give you a couple of stories that I think you really do need to hear today. First of all, who is, I guess this wasn't a leak yesterday with the Supreme Court, but boy, I don't trust, I don't trust the judges in the Supreme Court for a completely different reason than anybody else. There is a judge that leaked that Roe versus Wade decision, and it's clearly was a judge. So I just want to know which, which one, which one is it?
C
I have guesses. When we, when do we submit them?
A
Well, maybe, maybe we can do that next week. Sometime next week. The New York Times is blaming pro Israel money for Jamal Bowman's loss.
Yeah, it's the, that's the. You want to talk about anti semitism? It's the Jews. The Jews and their money.
Well, yes, they did spend a lot.
However, he's really out of step. He's a really bad politician with some really bad ideas. And there is a realignment going on. The Daily Caller has a great story today about a major political realignment that's happening inside of the Democratic Party.
And they go on to show the party is, the voters are starting to expel some of these people.
The real progressive leadership, state of Colorado.
Eight of the eleven progressive democrats up for reelection in the state house have lost or are on track to lose their primary races. Races in Ohio, Texas, Illinois, California, Michigan and Oregon have been bad for progressive candidates.
Well, I think people are finally waking up to that.
C
Can I ask you a question about this development, Glenn? Cause I'm a bit torn on it.
A
Okay.
C
So first of all, as you point out, Bowman was losing by, I think, 17 points before all the money started pouring into the district, and he wound up losing by 17 points. So, I mean, this is not a story about, about money.
A
But Stu. But Stu, the Jews.
C
The Jews. I mean, that's, that what his closing argument in this race was, because, you know, they are the money. We are the people. They are the money. You're a guy being accused of anti semitism and they are the money is what you come up with for your final rally.
But, like, I think this is very good for the Democratic Party. Looks like Cori Bush may also lose in her primary. Yes, very good for the Democratic Party that they're getting rid of these incredibly insane people who are just awful in so many different ways.
That being said, when something is very good for the democratic party, I tend to think that could be a problem for the country in general because if the, the democratic party appears to be more sane to average voters, they are more likely to gain more power and have more influence as far as elections go.
A
So I don't think so because people are feeling the pain now. The problem was the pain point wasn't strong enough in 2020. Okay. The pretty pain.
C
2020 was pretty painful year.
A
I know, but they hadn't seen, it was blamed on something else. They hadn't seen all of the policies starting to take root.
You still haven't. 20, 25, 26 is going to be a nightmare of a year because of the policies that this progressive administration has put in.
So you still haven't seen it. But is the pain enough yet? So the, I don't think they're going to get away with as much if they're just hiding behind. I'm just a regular Democrat because the policies are what is killing them right now. It's not just the AOCs. It's the policies of the DNC that is killing Americans.
C
I agree with what you just said and in particular two words of it, which is right now, right now. Right now, I agree with you. I don't think they can run from what they've done to this country over the past few years. However, these people stay in office for 10, 20, 30 years.
A
Oh, I know.
C
And when you have more, quote unquote, sensible Democrats being in office, I think that's good for the Democrats, it's maybe good for the country in some ways that we don't have these lunatics in office. Like, the fact that they have power is really bad for the country.
But I am concerned in those tough districts in those states that are, you know, purple ish, do. The fact is, the fact that we, that now empowered our democrats that appear to be more mentally balanced, are more in control, is that going to be a much tougher task for conservatives and people who care about the Constitution in the future?
A
Uh, maybe, but that's, that's, uh, assuming that we don't find our footing on common sense. You know, when you have Kinzinger endorsing Joe Biden, saying, as a proud conservative, you cannot be conservative and vote for Joe Biden. Come on, stop. You can't. You cannot.
But as long as we begin to find real conservatives, here's some really good news from South Carolina.
There were a pack of five women. Three of them were Republicans, okay. Group of five. The others were Democrat and independent.
They stood up sister senators and faced primary challenges because they stood against what was almost a total ban of abortion. Okay. And they won the, you know, profiles and courage awards and everything else. Well, what happened? Those three Republicans were primaried and they lost.
Okay.
C
That was big.
A
So, yeah, that's really big.
Republicans are changing.
At least the voters have changed. Now it's time to change the actual party. And you're going to see the results of, you know, the hamas thing is not going to be looked on, you know, kindly.
The riots in our streets and all of these things, you know, ex, you know, hate the Jews, you know, get rid of Israel, you know, and, and catering and pandering to, you know, the Islamicists in America. That's not going to be looked unfavorably when we are hit by a terrorist attack.
And that is coming. Us special forces group, group just issued another warning. We face serious risk of getting hit by major islamic terror attack. When that happens, you're not going to. Nobody's going to sit around and tolerate those people who hate America, hate the Jews, hate Christianity. It's just not going to. It's not going to go well. By the way, there's another issue out there about our water.
America's drinking water is under attack. City of Wichita, Kansas recently had an experience that has become all too common. The water system was hacked. This according to CNBC. The cyber attack, which targeted water metering, billing and payment processing, followed the targeting of water utilities across the US in recent years. In going after America's water hackers aren't doing anything special. Despite raising fears of AI use in cyber threats, the go to criminal way to systems remains prying on human foibles via, via phishing, social engineering, or system of just, you know, default password. Old school cyber attacks. But there have been alarming vulnerabilities now that have been happening that nobody's really talking about. Let me ask you, Steve, do this is one of those I bet we talked about, and I don't even remember it.
There was an attack last year by an iranian backed activist group against twelve water utilities in the US.
Do you remember that?
C
When was it again? What was the date?
A
Last year.
C
I mean, I off last year. I don't remember it, but you know.
A
Right, I do.
C
I remember generalized stories we've talked about a couple of times out of tax, but that specific one I don't remember.
A
This is specific.
A iranian backed activist group attacked twelve water systems in February. The FBI warned Congress that chinese hackers have burrowed deep into our cyber infrastructure in an attempt to cause damage targeting water treatment plants, the electrical grid, transportation systems and other critical infrastructure. A russian linked hack in January.
Do you remember this?
Happened in Texas back in January?
A russian hack of a water filtration plant, a small Texas town called Muleshoe, located right up next to the US Air Force base, caused a water tank to overflow flow.
I just don't think we as Americans are going to tolerate and it could swing horribly the other way we have. That's why you have a republic to slow down passions, not a democracy. But I'm afraid that the people who are on record saying horrible things about our nation, you know, that it's over. It should be over. That we're all racists, that, you know, islamicist, not people who practice Islam, but Islamicists, you know, are fine and dandy and you can have your own little Dearborn, you know, islamicist regime up there. I think. I think those days are coming to a halt quickly.
But we'll see. Back in a minute, sponsor. This half hour is rough greens. So maybe, you know, you're one of those ambitious people who actually make their own dog food at home. Yeah, not gonna do that. Did it for a while. It's too much work, you know.
Now, I don't know if you know this, but kibble food, it doesn't cut it.
The other is too expensive and takes too much work. But everything in kibble food is. All of the good stuff is baked out in the process and then they just spray it with flavor. It's honestly, if they could make styrofoam peanuts taste like meat. I might eat it, but it wouldn't be good for me. That's kind of kibble food without rough greens. Rough greens is not a dog food. It's a supplement that puts all of that back into the kibble food. You sprinkle it on the the dogs love it. And if it's healthy for your dog, it's most likely in rough greens. They want to have you try the first trial bag just to make sure your dog loves it as much as uno does my dog? Go to roughgreens ruff greens.com back or call 833 Glenn 33. They'll give you a first trial bag for your dog to try.
All you pay for is shipping.
Try this with your dog. I think you're going to see a profound difference. I did in my dog. Stu did. Pat did. We all have seen massive differences with our dogs. Eight, three, three. Glenn 33 833 glenn 33 roughgreens.com Beck.
D
The previous content identified as conservative oh my, the Glenn Beck program.
We'll be right back.
A
Oh, just to remind you of simpler times, a clip from Ronald Reagan listen.
D
Did you hear the story about the kid who was outside the democratic fundraiser selling kittens?
When the people came out from the fundraiser, he was holding up the kittens and he was saying, buy a Democrat kitten.
Well, a couple of weeks later, the Republicans held a fundraiser in the same place.
And when they came out, there was the same kid with the kittens and he said, buy a republican kitten. And one of the members of the press who'd seen him there two weeks before said, wait a minute, kid, you were selling these kittens the last time as Democrat kittens. How come the republican kittens now kid says, because now they got their eyes open.
A
