Need to talk to you about home title lock. Now, I mentioned this story a few times.

They actually did came up with home title theft and tried to steal the title of Graceland from Elvis Presley's family.

Think about how, first of all, think of the balls you have to have to try to do something like that. It didn't work in the end. Although they had actually gone really far with us, they had taken control of this title. So what about your home? Now, you might not have a home that has the financial value and historic value of Graceland, but what you probably do have is some equity. You've probably been playing your bills on time. And if you've been paying your bills on time, you are the target for something like this. You are like target number one. They don't necessarily want people who are, you know, if remortgage their home 65 times and have a negative equity, they want you. If you are caught up in this and you are a victim of it, it's. It's really going to throw your whole life upside down. So protect yourself. Have no room to compromise we gotta stay together if we go to survive stand up straight and hold the line it's a new day I turn the rain to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment.

This is the Glenn Beck program.

Hello, America, and welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're so glad that you have joined us today. It is a new dawn, a new era, a new attitude in America. If you happen to see the RNC convention last night, it was joyful and a different Donald Trump walked out into the convention center. He was emotional for the first time. I've never seen Donald Trump emotional. I know his, I know he doesn't like that because he believes it shows weakness.

But I thought it projected strength last night and a new attitude that we're going to talk about here in just a second. Stand by. First, let me tell you about our spotlight sponsor. Our sponsor this half hour is Mantis X.

You have it in you to be an amazing shot. It just takes practice. And I don't mean five minutes like in the movies. Yes, some people are naturals, but most people take, you know, the gun range over and over and over again or a dry fire. Practicing at home, tons of practice, practice, practice. Well, there is one way to help speed this up and to show you whether you're dry firing at home or you're at the range. Show you exactly what you're doing right and what you're doing wrong and shows you how to correct it. It's Mantis X. Mantis X is a high tech, easy to use system widely used by the military. It started with the marines, and it helps you improve your shooting quickly. You attach it to your firearm, and you connect it with an app on your smartphone or tablet via bluetooth. Whether you're dry firing or actual rounds, you will improve within 20 minutes. That's 94% of shooters improve, and I know I did. It's a responsible way to be a gun owner. If you're ever going to pull a gun, God forbid, you know, you have to be accurate. You have to be right when you pull that gun, your competence and confidence will increase. With Mantis x, get your mantisx@mantisx.com dot mantisx.com dot well, I want to, I want to welcome you. Welcome, everybody. I want to welcome you, especially if you think differently.

Welcome to you. Perhaps.

Perhaps you have been somebody who is following the mainstream media or has tuned it all out until recently, because it's just all bad news. It's all the same. Well, it's not. I mean, yes, I know crazy stuff is happening in our world, but I'm glad you're here.

Thank you. It's hard to step out, isn't it? It's hard to step out of the crowd and think differently. Especially in today's world. To risk thinking anew is really, really difficult. Or to question with boldness. As Thomas Jefferson said, question with boldness, even the very existence of God. For there, if there be a goddess, he must surely rather. Honest questioning over blindfolded fear.

It's essential.

But honest questioning is not really done. In today's world, honest questioning is replaced with gotcha questioning. Even in our own lives, we don't really talk to one another. We don't listen to one another. We're trying to get to our point. We're trying to win.

And that's not honest questioning.

Honest questioning means the kind of questions that if the answers lead your feet, your head or your heart into a different direction, you'll have the courage to follow that direction.

Nobody's looking to do that. Nobody's really looking to learn anything new.

I am.

If you're here, I think you are, too.

It's hard, especially in today's society.

But you're here for a reason. You're listening today for a reason, and we have a lot to share with one another. You may disagree if you're a new listener to much of what I'm about to say, but that's all right.

We're taught to not to listen. We're taught that, you know, you can't disagree. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. In fact, it's essential. It's essential opposition in all things.

But if you're listening for the first time today, I would like you to do something that you're not encouraged to do on either side. And that is give me, as I give you, the benefit of the doubt. I assume that you and I have something really basic in common, that we just want the madness to end. We want to be able to feed our family. We want good jobs. We want other people to be successful.

We want people to pay their fair share, if you will.

We want justice to be served. We want bad guys, no matter which side they're on, to go to jail. We want our children to have a good life and a better life than us. We want good education for our kids. And what's good for my kids isn't necessarily good for your kids, but I want good stuff for your kids as well, that we want strong families and a strong country. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and please give me the benefit of the doubt that we love our country, that we recognize that we've made a ton of mistakes, but we basically want the same things for our family.

And if that's the way you are and you have found that there's just nobody you can trust, I agree with you. And I don't ask for your trust. I don't want your trust.

I don't ask for it and I don't want it. I'm a human and I make a mistakes all the time. I try to lead with my mistakes. If I make one, I try to let you know right up front, you know, what I said yesterday was wrong, or I thought this through or somebody said something to me and I think differently on it, and I'll lead with my mistakes because I don't want you to trust me. I want you to do the same. I want you to question everything that I say and then look it up for yourself. But that takes a lot of work. But you're among friends if you're listening, uh, I'm glad you're here.

If we're going to start a new relationship, however, we need to talk about, uh, definitions of things. We need to be able to discuss certain things, uh, and know what we mean.

And right now, the world is concerned with fascism.

Donald Trump, somebody tried to kill him over the weekend because that person has been convinced that he's a fascist.

So, let's start with the definition of fascism, shall we?

I look this up for your benefit today, and it seems as though some of the definitions have changed recently in the dictionaries.

But let me. Let me just read what they now say fascism is, because in reading them, I can see why you might think Donald Trump is a fascist.

Here's the Encyclopedia Britannica. Fascism is a political ideology and mass movement dominated by many parts of central southern eastern Europe between 1919 1945. Although fascist parties and movements differed significantly from one another, they had many characteristics in common, including extreme militaristic nationalism.

Now, this is an easy way for people to say, oh, well, Donald Trump is a fascist because he wants a strong military.

Yes, but it's also another thing to say. You're.

You're only left alone if two things happen. One, you have the strength, and nobody wants to hit you because they know you'll hit back and probably hit back harder.

So you got to be the tough guy on the. On the playground. However, tough guys are the become fascistic. We don't want to be the tough guy anymore. And that's what makes Donald Trump different than most conservatives. Donald Trump hates war and hates the conflict of war. He always has. In fact, that's why he separated from so many people on the, on the right for so long. But luckily, many of us have woken up and realized these wars never end. They're ridiculous to fight. We always seem to lose in the end, one way or another, because it's not our responsibility, uh, to go in and tell other people how to live.

That's not fascistic.

I just think that's right.

They also fascists. According to Encyclopedia Britannica, they have contempt for the electoral democracy.

Contempt for electoral democracy.

Well, I know we've been having a discussion recently about what a democracy is. Are we a democracy or are we a republican?

And you can do your own homework on this. The founders were very clear. In fact, Ben Franklin was walking down the street after the constitutional convention, and some woman said to him, well, Mister Franklin, what have you given us? And he said, a republic, if you can keep it. Now, this has been something that we all understood up until Woodrow Wilson started changing things.

Democracies last very, very short period of time.

But our constitution is coming up on its 250th anniversary. The average constitution lasts 17 years.

That's the average in the world, 17 years. We're coming up on 250 years. Why?

Because we have balanced democracy with a republic.

So you have the one man, one vote, and you vote in a representative. Once you are done voting, then they begin to vote on your behalf.

That's where it's gotten screwed up, because we're not electing good people and honest people and people with our own values.

And also, it's screwed up because we can't trust our vote.

And if you can't trust your vote, well, you don't have any. You don't have a democracy. You don't have a republic. You have nothing.

This is why the Republicans have been saying that we need paper ballots, we need to have id. And this is not something that fascists do.

This is something that they do at your 711, if you try to buy a beer. This is something you, you have to have if you're driving a cardinal. This is something you have to have if you're going to college or you're going to work in many places. You need to have an id that's not racist. This isn't 1841.

The government wants you to have some sort of vaccine id.

Well, isn't that racist? Then how could you be for a vaccine to let you into buildings if you have had the vaccine and keep you out of buildings if you haven't had the vaccine, how could you have something so personal to you? Be a requirement is what the Biden administration wanted to be in a requirement. But you don't want people to have any form of id to show that they're a citizen and they're a registered voter.

Really.

That's not fascism. And that is not a democracy. That's just corruption.

The other thing they have in the encyclopedia Britannica is it's a belief. Fascism is a belief in a natural social hierarchy and the rule of elites. Now, this is something that I used to disagree with on, uh, vehemently, for a long time with, with liberals. They used to say, oh, well, these corporations, they're going to take over the world. And they're so powerful. You know what? You're right.

I never thought a corporation, in my lifetime, I'm 60, but in my lifetime, I never thought a corporation could be as powerful as the government or could be so corrupt and so controlling. The before AI, before Google, they didn't have that power, but they have that power now.

So it's a ruling of elites.

If you didn't go to the right college, you're not an elite.

If you didn't go to the right, if you don't hold the right opinion, you're not an elite, you're an idiot.

And we only listen to the elites.

So there's a belief in fascism on a natural social hierarchy and the rule of elites and the desire to create the people's community. Now, this is where it gets interesting, because this is where Donald Trump and his nationalism, as they would call it, I would call it love of country, always gets in trouble from the left. They think that that is, he wants to have, you know, the people's community. He's trying to be like Germany, and we're the best, and we're the best race and everything else. We're not.

We're not.

What makes us different is our heritage, for the most part. And this is changing and unfortunately, changing far too rapidly to be able to pass these good characteristics on.

This society came here from all over the world, so how could we possibly be anti immigrant? We came here from all over the world. But those who self selected to come here, they conquered. Have you watched a western?

Have you watched a cowboy movie? Have you watched 1882? Have you watched the magnificent seven, even the new one? Have you watched any of these things? Have you seen Horizon, the new Kevin Costner film?

These people were insane.

I have a grandmother who lost an eye crossing the mountains. She just like, yanked it out and was like, keep moving.

I mean, these people were nuts.

That's what made us. That's what makes us different, is that our heritage is one of explorers of risk takers.

That's why we're ahead good entrepreneurs.

But in Germany with fascism and in Italy, it meant that the individual interest would be subordinated to the good of the nation. So the individual didn't matter.

It was the collective that mattered.

That's a key sign of fascism.

I have more on this, but I also want to get to the news of the day, because yesterday was an amazing thing with Donald Trump.

There was a, there was a difference in him. And we'll talk about that coming up in just a second. 1st let me tell you about our sponsor. It's realestateagentsitrust.com dot. Now, this is my company. And if buying or selling a home isn't one of the most difficult decisions that you've made, well, I think you should rethink that. There's a whole host of huge decisions all rolled up into that one. Now here's the scary part.

Almost all of them are your decisions. How much money do you put into repairs before having the house appraised? How do you, how do you do the repairs? Or who do you get for the appraisal? Who's taking the pictures? There's so many things that a great real estate agent can help you with. In fact, should take the lead on the, you need a really competent real estate agent, one you can trust. When you trust your agent, you can also trust the people he or she trust, the inspectors, the appraisers, the home repair contractors, the photographers. The list goes on and on and on. Real estate agents. Itrust.com dot. The name says it all. If you're looking for a real estate agent, let us help you find one. Realestateagentsitrust.com. dot realestateagentsitrust.com. 10 seconds. Station id all right, welcome back to the program.

You know, before we move on, I just, I want to emphasize two things on fascism because we are having this argument. Each side is looking at the other side going, you're going to destroy the rights of people.

And it's important that we really understand before we start throwing terms around that we understand what those terms mean.

Fascism prioritizes the nation over the individual. And that's what spooks people, even me, when people start to get nationalistic.

If there are conservatives and there are, that say, you know, we need a, we need a prince of christ to come in and be our, be our leader. No, no, we really don't. We really don't.

We don't need a religious leader. We need somebody of good moral standing. That would be nice. Have you found one lately?

But we don't need a vicar of Christ. What we need is somebody who reflects the best of us. I used to say reflect us, but that's not really good because there's moral sentiments actually matter and you don't prioritize the nation over the people. However, the nation is important. Without a nation to protect your family, you can't have a family.

We need to make sure that we have a strong family.

I'm sorry, a strong nation with strong currency. Because if the currency goes down, you don't really have a job where you can make any money. You might have plenty of money, but nothing your money could buy because it's worthless.

So prioritize the nation not over the individual rights, but to make sure that the nation is strong and healthy and safe. And we're doing none of that.

All right, more in just a second. Stand by. We're going to talk about Donald Trump and his walkout yesterday and what I think we all felt, you know, man's best friend comes with his own set of health needs. If you're a dog owner, you know what I'm talking about. It isn't enough just to throw some dry kibble in a bowl. Your dog needs nutrients, the kind of stuff that gets baked out of that kibble food when they're making it in the factory.

You want to give your dog something that has probiotics in it. It has all of the vitamins and the minerals, everything that will give your dog a healthy and happy life. What you need is rough greens. Rough greens isn't a dog food. It's a supplement that gives your dog all of those things. You sprinkle it on your dog's food, and they love it. In fact, rough Greens is so confident that your dog is going to love it, they're going to give you your first trial bag for free. All you do is call rough Greens at 833 glenn 33. Glenn Beck
Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.

Well, the convention started last night, and something unusual happened. Donald Trump appeared at the convention. That's something that usually does not happen on the first night. But Donald Trump was anxious to get there.

And he walked in about halfway through, I think it was probably 10:00 Eastern, 1030 Eastern.

And he was different.

He was different. I don't know how to describe it. Don Junior had tears in his eyes.

I think probably a lot of people did. And I saw softer man for the first time. I saw, I don't know how to describe it. Maybe somebody who went, I shouldn't be here.

I was not supposed to be here. And here I am.

And I think it was a humbling moment.

And I'm anxious to see what Donald Trump has to say.

He walked in, people are making fun of him for walking in with a big bandage on his ear. Well, he lost part of his ear.

This is such a miracle.

There was a five mile an hour wind and just that, and him turning his head made all the difference in that remarkable.

Now, when he walked out, people were chanting at the convention, here's that sound.

Cut seven.

So now, let me put this into context, because you will hear people say they were screaming, fight, fight.

Yeah, they were. They were for a couple of reasons. First of all, in something that I thought was one of the most heroic things I have seen from a president in a very long time, President Trump, unlike, I think I, would be stood up after being shot in the head of, he's disoriented. You can see that he's kind of had the wind knocked out of him from the dogpile of the Secret Service. He's standing up and he makes a point. You can hear him on the tape saying, wait, wait, wait a minute. And he's telling the Secret Service to stop rushing him off of the stage so he can let the people know that he's okay. And he raises his fist and he says, fight, fight, fight.

That is a hero moment.

No matter who you, what you think about Donald Trump, I'm sorry. That is just stirring to see somebody who, for political reasons, they tried to kill, they hit him and he still stands up.

The reason why people admire Donald Trump is that they have put him through everything. They tried to bankrupt him. They tried to call him all kinds of names. They've tried to destroy his business. Then they tried to put him in jail.

They've done everything. Impeachment two separate times.

They smeared him and his family, and now they tried to kill him. And the guy is not stopping.

Why?

Well, either, either he's a psycho that just loves pain and destruction, which he doesn't, or he actually believes in something that's worth fighting for.

And what is that?

Donald Trump doesn't believe in the global government.

He doesn't believe in the, the global economy the way it's being fashioned now, in much more of a fascistic way with public private partnerships. You know, you play ball with us and then you'll be able to take over and crush your competitors and everything else because we'll protect you. But you need to play ball the right way. We're going to change capitalism.

That's what's happening. There is a new economic system that has already been introduced.

And that economic system, part of it is called modern monetary theory. I talk about it in my book, the great Reset. And again, in the follow up book, the modern monetary Theory six years ago was insane.

Basically what it says is we don't have to have the tax revenue to pay these bills.

We, we can just print as much money as we want well, that's what they're doing. Well, that's what they did in Germany, in the Weyramar Republic. We know because math remains math. There is something as an absolute truth, and the closest we can get to it is mathematics. It doesn't work.

But that's just to bring the united, in my opinion, to bring the United States down to everybody else's level.

For 40 years, we tried to bring the world up, and it worked.

Not universally and not everywhere, but wherever it was truly tried and tried without corruption, it did improve the lives of people. Capitalism works well. The Chinese thought of this new idea of fascism bringing the state in with business. Instead of taking businesses away from people and owning the businesses, they let people own and run the business. As long as you're in line with the state, well, that's what we're building now.

Donald Trump doesn't believe in that. In fact, the reason why they have to kill him, I believe, is because he's the only one that stands in the way of this new global government and this new global business elite.

He doesn't believe in it.

People are saying, he's saying, fight. The first words out of his mouth were, fight, fight, fight.

Yes.

Isn't there anything worth fighting for? And I don't mean with guns, I don't mean a civil war.

Isn't there anything worth, are your children worth fighting for? Of course they are.

Your children worth standing up for? Of course they are. Are your children worth dying for?

Yes.

Yes, they are.

Hopefully you don't ever have to get there, but yes, they are. You know, you would sacrifice your life for your child. You know it.

Here's what I want you to do. When you hear the fight, fight, fight. I want you to think Donald Trump doesn't mean just that it's worth dying for, because I do believe our country and our freedom of our children and the future of our children is worth dying for. But I don't want to get there. I hope we don't ever get there.

Fight.

Stand up.

Because our children and our children's future is worth living for.

That's the key.

Now, yesterday there was a really awkward interview with Lester Holt where Joe Biden is just engaging in the same lies. And I would really like to make it very apparent by using the audio of both what Biden has been saying over and over again and the audio of what was actually said at the time. And then you decide who is telling you the truth. Here's Lester Holt and Joe Biden talking about Charlottesville again. Listen, I wasn't going to run again because I lost my son. I didn't feel.

And until I watched what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia, those folks coming out of the woods with torches, carrying swastikas, singing the same nazi bile that was accompanied by this Ku Klux Klan. And a young woman was killed, and it was a bystander. And the president, then president was asked, what do you think? He said, they're very fine people on both sides. Not fine people on both sides. No excuse, zero. Okay, you can go to Snopes and look this up, but I urge you to do that. But why take the time to do that when I can just present you with the actual audio of what Trump said in 2017? Listen. And you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were.

Speaker C
Very fine people on both sides.

Glenn Beck
You had people in that group.

Speaker C
Excuse me. Excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that.

Glenn Beck
Were there to protest the taking down.

Speaker C
Of to them a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park.

Glenn Beck
From Robert E. Lee to another name.

Speaker C
And you had people, and I'm not talking about the neo Nazis and the white nationalists because they should be condemned totally. But you had many people in that group other than neo Nazis and white nationalists.

Glenn Beck
Okay?

So now you are left with this question.

Why would President Biden continue to tell this lie?

There's one thing you can, you can dismiss that you know. No, no joke. I was a truck driver. No, he wasn't. No. No joke. I was a constitutional scholar for many years. No, he wasn't.

No. No joke. The ladies love me. No, Joe, they don't. Well, the children love me. No, they don't either. They're creeped out by you.

The one thing that you can say about Joe Biden is he always is self aggrandizing.

And I think that's because he's really never done anything. I mean, he was a senator, yes, but he was not the world's greatest senator by any means. And there's lots of senators on both sides that kind of fall into this category.

And he thinks of himself as a great mandeh.

You can take those kinds of lies and kind of feel sorry for them. Not this one.

And these, these lies, like this one that the left continues to tell, they are told for a reason, to get you to believe something that is not true.

So if you're listening today for the first time and you're, you're thinking anew, you're thinking, maybe I've missed something.

This is what you're missing.

I talk to people all the time who have no clue as to what is going on in the world.

They have only heard the mainstream media and the left, and they have left out facts. Now, we can spin things any way we want, but facts are facts.

Why listen to people who constantly knowingly tell you something about a fact that is not true?

Don't worry.

Inflation, it's transitory.

Don't worry. People are doing better.

Is that true?

And can you afford another four years of that?

All right.

Our sponsor, we want to thank them so much for being a part of the program, is Preborn. This July, we celebrate the birth of our nation and remember the heroes that fought for our freedoms.

You know that some Americans today still don't have the freedom of life and liberty. Tragically, every day, thousands of unborn babies are taken against their will. What kind of free nation do we live in? What kind of nation do we live in where we don't recognize life at the end of life and we don't recognize life at the very beginning?

Well, a kind of nation that does horrible, horrible things in the end if they don't reverse it. Preborn is the largest pro life organization in the country now. And I think it's because they have compassion. They're doing what they do, and they're so successful, successful at what they do because of the compassion. They're not just looking at the, the baby, they're looking at the bomb. To 60% of women who have abortions don't want to have one, but they feel trapped. That's where Preborn comes in. The first thing they do is they give the women a free ultrasound. That's where you come in. Pay for the ultrasound if you can pay for the ultrasound. When they see that the chance of the baby being saved doubles, then they also tell the mom, who has no support system, don't worry, we're going to be here for two years. We'll help you with the baby clothes and the food and everything else.

You just come and give life to this baby. It's an amazing thing. It saves two people.

Will you stand with preborn? One ultrasound is $28 and five ultrasounds $140. To donate, just dial pound 250. Say the key word baby. That's pound 250. Keyword baby, or donate securely@preborn.com. beck sponsored by Preborn.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We have Senator Mike Lee on.

Coming up in just a second, also, we have Eric Prince today to talk about what is happening with Secret Service and Kevin Roberts. You don't want to miss.

Speaker A
And the hope is, Glenn, you'll be able to hear the voices of all of those interviews, which will be nice. Can you hear mine is the question. I have.

Glenn Beck
I can hear yours. I can hear yours now in case.

Speaker A
You don't, could, I know you could, but what you just went through was an entire hour where Glenn couldn't hear anything.

We could get his voice, but he could not hear anything from the studios. So, I mean, I don't like complimenting you. It's against my religion. But I will say that was hall of fame stuff right there. I don't know. I mean, including the clips like the clips that we played of Joe Biden and Glenn knew what they were, but we had to visually count him down to the end of each clip so he knew when they ended.

Glenn Beck
I tell you, that's a lot of trust on my side because you guys could have screwed me so badly. Oh my gosh, you're right. We could have played the exact, we could have played totally different clips and.

Speaker A
Screwed them over so badly. Why didn't we think of that next time? Next time that is coming your way. For sure, there will be no next time.

But you can hear us now. So an entire hour of not being able to hear your own radio show while you're doing the radio show. Congratulations to Glenn Beck, a new achievement. You've unlocked level 47.

Glenn Beck
Thank you.

It was going to be interesting to do the interviews with a guest when I couldn't hear them right.

I didn't think we were going to be able to do that one somehow.

But I'm excited to talk to all of you, the people that we have coming up in just a second, give you some insight. By the way, what did you think about, did you see Trump come out? I was watching Newsmax last night. So I don't know.

Alrighty. Let me tell you about Senator Mike Lee, who is joining us now. The good senator from Utah.

Mike, are you at the RNC convention this week?

Senator Mike Lee
I am, very much so. It's good to be here.

Speaker A
Thank you so much, senator. Appreciate that. Glenn's having a little bit of audio trouble and cannot hear anything. So we're going to pick this up from.

It's been a heck of a day. It's been a heck of a week. I think. As you may have noticed, senator, you're at the RNC. And what we're getting right now after just a terrible, terrible weekend and a weekend that changed the country for a very long time, we're getting an idea from every source right now to take the temperature down.

And of course, this is a good instinct. I know something that I think you agree with, but do you agree with the messaging here from the media who I think has participated in ratcheting the temperature up quite a bit over the past few years.

Senator Mike Lee
It's really cute for the media and for people on the left to tell us to take the temperature down when they themselves do quite the opposite of that and then nitpick at every single stage for what republicans do, what non progressives do. Look, the best thing that they could do to take down the temperature would be to end, for example, the political law fair. I said from the beginning that President Biden really wanted to do that.

He could call for the criminal charges against his political opponent to be dismissed.

He can do that directly for the federal charges, for the state charges. He could call upon the governors of New York and Georgia to do that. That would set a better signal than anything I can think of. Look, it's not going to cost him anything anyway because the way things are going with the Florida charges being dismissed, with the likelihood that the other cases are going to run into trouble anyway, it's not panning out the way they had hoped. Doesn't look like there's a credible path for them to be able to lock him up before November anyway.

He would get some credibility, I would think, by doing that. But instead, the left continues by saying, yeah, Republicans have got to change their messaging and they nitpick at anything any Republican says, highlighting differences between the parties as a reason why we're doing it wrong.

Glenn Beck
So, Mike, there's a, Keith Olbermann just, just came out yesterday and said the judge in the Florida case needs to be arrested by Merrick Garland. Even if you have to make up charges. There's nothing like made up charges to save a democracy.

But what is this? They're definitely going to at least take this to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals is, do you know anything about the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and how this might play?

Senator Mike Lee
Well, look, the judge was right to dismiss those charges.

Justice Thomas had pointed out some very legitimate reasons why Jack Smith's appointment failed to pass constitutional muster. I think he's right. I think the district judge was right to do this.

It's very difficult to predict how the 11th Circuit might respond to this, but I think it's, the 11th circuitous handles this correctly under the law. They're going to affirm that decision.

And in any event, the idea that Keith Olbermann would say that I had not heard that until now, it's disgusting.

That is, it doesn't get much more third world dictator ish than that. It doesn't get much more state owned media than that. For a media figure to come out and suggest that a judge making a ruling should be arrested, even if it's necessary, based on Trump's contrives, non existent legal charges.

Glenn Beck
So, Mike, yesterday, when, when I was watching the convention before Trump got in there, it had a sense of joy to it that I have not.

I mean, it was the happy warrior. It was Reagan 1984, and it at least connected with me. I don't know what it felt like on the floor. And then when Donald Trump walked out, he seemed different.

Is it just me? What did it feel like in the room?

Senator Mike Lee
He seems much more somber. He seems shaken but reinvigorated by the support that he's getting. And I think that shows him, and I think it's impossible for him to have gone through that experience, nearly getting killed.

It almost be impossible to not feel that, to feel something had changed and perhaps even on kind of a spiritual level, to have felt like he had a mission and a purpose for which he had been preserved. And that's my sense of things.

Glenn Beck
It is. It feel like to you that we've turned a page and, and we're in a different chapter now of this american story?

Senator Mike Lee
Absolutely. Now, particularly as it relates to this election cycle, my sense is that on the left, there's still some weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth going on as to this election. But I think they've almost written it off now.

They're almost to the point now where they're realizing this is a lost cause, because whether they stick with President Biden or try to cast him off for someone else, there are so many political problems with that.

There's not really a good outcome. But regardless, now that President Trump has been attacked like this and shot, there's so much sympathy that naturally goes out to him.

I don't like to use the word unbeatable because we don't tempt fate, but it starts to feel a little bit like that.

Glenn Beck
Are you hearing that from your colleagues on the other side of the aisle?

Senator Mike Lee
No, they don't say it. They don't say it out loud, but there's very much a sense of, I don't know, it's not quite resignation, but there's less fight in them.

They don't really have a clear path anymore.

All along, they've been relying on all sorts of things on their ability to demonize Donald Trump through the media, demonize him further through the lawfare against him. They were very much looking forward to the perp walk moment where they could cuff him, arrest him, take him into custody, and they thought that that was going to be their big shining moment now with the immunity ruling, with yesterday's ruling from the us district Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the more recent developments with Trump being shot, none of those things are panning out for them well, and it almost seems as if they've all backfired on because, again, public sympathy is turning toward Trump.

Glenn Beck
So it looks like when Lester Holt asked who was in charge of Secret Service that the president didn't even really know who was in charge of the Secret Service.

Senator Mike Lee
Misgendered her.

He misgendered her. He said, I, you know, talked to him well out of the Secret Service is a woman. So that really raises all kinds of questions as to whether he knows or is in touch with who's running the Secret Service or not. And I think we know the answer to that now.

Glenn Beck
The, the idea that this could happen, and honestly, no one would even have the honor to step down, it's a, it's another case where something horrible has happened and no accountability.

Is there going to be accountability on this?

Senator Mike Lee
Look, there will be accountability. It's, it's unfortunate that the accountability doesn't seem to be coming because as you pointed out, this thing happened on Saturday, and we absolutely should have seen some accountability by now, even though it's only Tuesday.

But with each passing hour that nothing happens. It seems less likely during this administration. But I can assure you, with the way things are going, we're going to have most likely republican control of the Senate and the House and the White House next year. So I can absolutely assure you that by then we will have robust, aggressive investigations and we'll be able to figure out what happened here. But in the meantime, just basic conversations that I've been having that I'm sure you've been having, Glenn, with people who know what they're doing in this area, with current and former Secret service agents that I know and people who have sharpshooter experience from the military or otherwise.

I've had conversation after conversation with experts in this area who point out things like, it is the most elementary point of securing an area that you don't allow an elevated perch only 148 yards away from the place where you're supposed to be protecting someone.

You don't allow that to go unattended, to go unmonitored. You also don't ignore multiple observations by multiple attendees saying, hey, there's a guy with a rifle on that roof, somebody ought to check it out.

The minute they were made aware of that, the president should have been kept off the stage, or if he was already on the stage, removed immediately until they neutralized the threat.

It's also difficult to understand why it is that there were so many requests made, apparently from President Trump's campaign for increased security.

When they didn't provide it, they just didn't offer that. And that's unfortunate, too. It's kind of a perfect storm in some ways. Some of it was an unfortunate set of circumstances because it has, my understanding is Jill Biden, Vice President Harris, former President Trump, were all in Pennsylvania on the same day, and the Secret Service is stretched in. But that, too, is something we've got to look at.

Look, Glenn, if they're stretched that thin, maybe we need to restructure the Secret Service. Maybe, just maybe, we should look at the fact that the Secret Service ought to be devoted entirely to dignitary protection. My understanding is that at any given moment, most of their human resources are devoted to the investigation of financial crimes, things like counterfeiting and stuff like that, that historically been part of their mission.

Look, the mission of the Secret Service is kind of a dog's breakfast. It reminds me a little bit of the union that Homer Simpson belongs to in the Simpsons. It's like the union of nuclear power plant workers, ballet dancers, and pastry chefs, this odd combination of things that have nothing to do with each other. Maybe Secret Service needs once and for all to be just about dignitary protection to make sure exceptionally well.

Glenn Beck
As somebody who has spent a lot of time with Secret Service, and I admire some of the Secret Service agents, even those, though, that are just treasury agents, when they come to town, when a Donald Trump or a dignitary comes to town, these guys are called off their desk and they're put in the line of duty, and they're not trained for that. I mean, maybe they're trained, but they're nothing. Not, they're not.

They're not prepared for it. They're desk people. And it's a totally different mindset from, from a desk person to somebody who has to put their body in the way and, and absorb a bullet.

Mike, the thing that you hope you will see or we will see this week from the RNC.

Senator Mike Lee
Okay.

One of the things that I want to hear that I haven't heard yet, but I hope and expect that it's coming.

We hear a lot of talks that sound a little bit like a diagnosis of the problem without a prescription for the cure.

I want to hear as much detail as possible about what it is that we're going to do to get at the ailment and by the ailment, I mean first and foremost the ailment within and the ailments surrounding the ailment infecting our government, our federal government.

I want to hear some fairly specific plans about what we're going to do to de weaponize the platform that is the United States government.

I want to hear plans about tax reform, about regulatory reform, plans that talk about how it is that we're going to shift power back to the american people where it belongs to.

Glenn Beck
Was it significant to you that what's his face, turtle head Stu, that he was booting. McConnell was booed yesterday.

Senator Mike Lee
You know, things like that happen from time to time, and you hate to see that any person going through that. I think there are some people who don't like him and they made their minds known yesterday loud and clear. I don't know whether that's exactly the most productive way of going about it, but it is what it is. I was a little surprised to see it.

Glenn Beck
Yeah. Well, there you are. I'm a better christian than you, says Mike Lee.

Thanks a lot, Mike. I appreciate it. God bless you.

All right.

Good to talk to you, my friend. All right, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's Patriot Mobile. You know, we have so much we're dealing with right now, but I really believe we're on the verge of winning. And I really believe these corporations and everybody else are going to hear the voice of the american people and change their ways. I think this is overd. Um, now, it's not going to all happen overnight, but the thing that you can do to help support is to do business with companies that believe in the same things that you do and are fighting the same fight you're fighting and are actually in the fight with their own money. Patriot Mobile is that company. You can take a step right now just by joining, get a whole month for free of cellular service. It's a great way to start your new service. You're going to get the same great service that you have from any of the other three big mobile companies that are now working hand in hand to, I think, destroy what we have of America and build some kind of new economic powerhouse that doesn't reflect freedom at all. So it's Patriot mobile, patriotmobile.com. beck, get your free month of service by calling them right now. 972 Patriot. 972 Patriot or patriotmobile.com Beck, 10 seconds. Station Id.

We have Eric Princess joining us in just a few minutes. Also, the Beck story, episode number five of the Beck story. This is the history of how we got here with all of these experts. It's an amazing series. I think there is three more episodes to go, but in this one, this is my favorite episode. And remember, we've done episodes on, you know, Woodrow Wilson. And those are hard for me to get past this one.

I learned so much.

Nathan nipper, who, who wrote this episode and this whole series, he, we talked about, and he's like, glenn, I had no idea. When you hear this episode, the whole world for you will open up and change. This one's on the supreme Court.

This one will take you behind the scenes of the supreme Court in the past century.

How did we go from something where they were interpreting the constitution into a realm of political activism?

It is remarkable. I, the, as I was narrating this thing and I was reading it beforehand, and then I read it as I narrated again, and I thought to myself, this explains the Kavanaugh thing. This explains Judge Roberts. This explains the leak. All of it. All of it.

There is history that you just don't know, that. When you do know.

You're like, oh, my gosh, I get it.

All of the episodes in the first season of the Beck story get to the root of how insane we have gone. Don't miss episode one through four. And episode five comes out Saturday, wherever you get your podcast. Episode five, Saturday of the Beck story, wherever you get your podcasts.

All right, coming up, we have Mister Eric Prince.

Eric is a former Navy Seal. He is also the guy who ran Blackwater.

And he has a lot to say about the Secret Service and what happened. There's some additional details out now about what happened on Saturday that I really think I would like to hear his opinion on. All those new details and his opinion next.

Stand up, Glenn Beckley. I want to tell you how grateful I am for the opportunity to have an art exhibit coming up. I am grateful for the talents that God has given me. And I am also really, really grateful for relief factor because it allows me to hold a paintbrush in my hand. My hands were so crippled in pain that I couldn't write, I couldn't paint. And my wife decided that I needed to take relief factor. And I said, honey, it's not going to work for me.

You know, it's like ibuprofen 800. And she's like, no, it's different.

This is different. Much, much different. It's a hundred percent drug free daily supplement that helps your body fight pain naturally. So you don't just take it when you're in pain, you take it all the time. And it, it addresses the inflammation in your body, which is a source of most of our pain. And, uh, also most of, uh, most of the disease that we have comes from inflammation as well. I want you to go to relief factor and try it for yourself. Try their three week quick start. 1800 for relief, 1800 for relief, or go to relieffactor.com. that's relieffactor.com, dot blazetv.com.

Glenn Beck
I feel as though we turned a page. There's a new chapter in America being written because of what happened over the weekend. However, I would like to remind you that Reagan assassination bump, if you can call it that, lasted only about three months. So this will go away, especially in an election season. So don't take anything for granted, because there's a lot more of the election to go. I think it's interesting if they don't replace Joe Biden as the candidate, I think it will be very interesting to see, because I think, to me that says, why waste another candidate, a possible candidate for a losing situation?

But that is, again, wishful thinking. The one thing we have to do is make sure that there's no more violence and nobody tries to kill the president or the, the former president or anybody else. RFK, that would be horrible. And we almost had that situation. Now there's some new information that is coming out. I want to say hi to our guest, Eric Prince. He is the host of off leash. He's a retired US Navy SEAL. He's also the founder of Blackwater and a friend of the program. How are you?

Eric Prince
Hey, Glenn, how are you? Good to talk with you.

Glenn Beck
Good, good. I saw you on Newsmax last night as they were talking to you from the convention. Did you sense a difference in watching the convention? That I did. It felt joyful. And it also, when Trump walked out, seemed, he seemed different.

Eric Prince
What did Winston Churchill say? There's nothing quite as exhilarating as being shot at without result.

I think that definitely affected the president, maybe an air of humility. And I think he realizes how severe that situation could have been. And they literally, he dodged a bullet. The country dodged a bullet, because if he had been killed, I cannot imagine the second and third order effects that would be ravaging America right now if that was the case.

Glenn Beck
And that's not, we're not done yet. I mean, you're right, the Secret Service has been bad for a very long time. Since Obama was in, I've been screaming about the Secret Service, the president, all of the presidents are in danger. They, they, I mean, Eric, sometime we'll talk. I mean, I've seen stuff from the Secret Service that scare the hell out of me in their incompetence. But I wonder if this is just incompetence. Let me give you a couple of stories. New reporting today says that the shooting location was actually a police staging area and that counter snipers were inside the building. They saw the shooter acting suspiciously, they took a picture of him, they watched him pull out a range finder and take measurements and then disappear.

Wouldn't the correct protocol to make sure that the president doesn't go on stage at that point until you find that guy?

Eric Prince
There is so many breakdowns. It is, it's mind boggling how badly they missed. You know, that 140 yards from that location to the president's podium is effectively point blank range with a carbine. I mean, a twelve year old first time hunter could make that shot.

The fact that there was local law enforcement in the area and they weren't covering is pathetic. So bad on them, but also bad on the secret Service to not detail one guy to make sure that local law enforcement is doing their job to cover that massive dead space. If you stand at the podium for the people that were doing the advance work before Trump arrives to stand at the podium and look around, it's pretty obvious to see that those industrial buildings is what they call the sniper hotel, the likely place the sniper is going to set up shop if someone's going to do something. And apparently they must have sent some local law enforcement there and they didn't even thoroughly cover or walk around or patrol.

It's astounding how bad the bungling was, and we literally dodged a bullet. So it's the infinitesimal variation of aim to miss the president's head. His brain matter by two inches.

The margin of error is entirely too small, and that must not ever happen again. And that's just against a 20 year old idiot with no real professional training.

I worry that a professional that sets up at 500 or longer yards with a bigger, proper rifle can also provide serious threat. The fact that the Secret Service snipers, counter snipers, were apparently looking at the guy for up to a minute and no action was taken even to include not even getting Trump behind cover to at least the threat is it doesn't have to be neutralized, but at least interdicted so that he can't hurt anybody. To even have one of those cops go up the ladder, or multiple cops go up the ladder and stop, it's. It's astounding. I hope there is a proper external investigation. We know the federal government is incapable of actually policing itself and of doing an objective, fact based, non political, non ass covering investigation.

So there has to be some internal external look at this, because unfortunately, I've lost confidence in the federal agencies, and I think you have too.

Glenn Beck
Oh, yeah.

New reporting out again today. Alleges the secret Service didn't secure the main access points to the perimeter. Entrances were unmanned, secured with only zip ties. Adjacent neighbors weren't even contacted by the secret service. This is not usual secret service operation.

This is not the way it's supposed to go. Yeah. Advance work.

If you were the head of the secret service, what would you do today?

What should they be doing? What should we be as a public seeing today? If our secret service was competent, she.

Eric Prince
Should resign, effective immediately.

And whoever did the advance work for that detail on Saturday should be fired. The head of countersniping there should be fired.

And again, I don't like the Twitter post. I said, I just don't. The way of accountability is not the way of Washington anymore. And so I don't think we'll see any changes until there's a new administration and it speaks to yet another federal agency that is rotted with corruption and incompetence and social engineering and not focusing on the right things, which is should be solely focused on mission and execution and excellence.

Nothing else, nothing to deviate from other than those core missions.

The most important part of executive protection is really good advance work and mapping all the ways and all your likely vulnerabilities.

Clearly that wasn't done because there was so many areas left unwatched, unguarded. But even once the bullet started flying the diamond, the immediate close protection team around the president should have got him off the x immediately and not let him stand up. Although him standing up was a magnificent moment of bravery, a teddy Roosevelt like moment. Good on the president for having that composure, but at that point, don't know if there was another second or third shooter. He was highly exposed yet, and he should have been gotten off the x. And it speaks to those responses from a protection team must be autonomic, meaning fully programmed that you can do it when you're under maximum stress because they were with maximum adrenaline pumping through your bloodstream, because it was.

But that's why you train in a super high stress environment, so that your body is conditioned to react to your training.

And that clearly had not been done because that team was not, was not. Its a game that day.

Glenn Beck
Eric, if you were in Congress and you were a supporter of Joe Biden, wouldn't you be ringing the bell as hard as you are right now? I mean, I'm ringing the bell because I don't want any of these guys shot. It's bad for the country. If we don't fix this. We are entering probably the most dangerous time our country has been in, maybe since World War two, where anything could go wrong and could set the entire country on fire.

Why are the Democrats, why are the Democrats raising this alarm?

Eric Prince
Because they pursue apparently a very different paradigm, that social engineering and DEi is more important than excellence. And I guess that equates to a fundamental paradigm and maybe that becomes an electoral issue. Do you vote for excellence and merit?

Glenn Beck
I.

Eric Prince
Or do you vote for choosing people for their color, sexual preference, gender, whatever it is, and the american people have to choose excellence or we don't have a country anymore. Or a republic at least.

Glenn Beck
I found it weird that the head of the secret service was in charge of Pepsi security, you know, I know you know how much security doritos do need, but I found that to be.

Eric Prince
She was, she was a career secret service, but that doesn't mean she was an excellent secret service officer and the one that should be leading the organization. So again, I don't care who people sleep with or what bathroom they use. I just want the hardest, most capable protection officers around the president and other vip's, because as you know, you're a student of history.

World War one started with an assassination of the heir to the austro hungarian empire, and it uncorked untold millions of deaths in World War one, tens of millions of deaths in world War two, and literally rewrote the map of the world from one hit.

I fear that if we lose a President Trump like that this second, again, the second and third order effects will be really, really ugly. And whoever I think it would, if there is external conspiracy, and it wasn't just some 20 year old idiot that showed up to do this, they need to be careful, because if they stole the wind, they're going to reap the whirlwind.

Glenn Beck
Eric, I appreciate it. Thank you for everything that you do. We'll talk again, my friend.

Eric Prince
You bet, Glenn. Check. Take care.

Glenn Beck

Let me tell you about burnout. In an emergency situation, you got to think fast, and usually there's in time for you to weigh your options out carefully.

Well, that's if you're a responsible citizen. You've already weighed them out in advance. You know where you stand, you know what you're willing to do, and you know what you're capable of doing. You probably also know that while you are willing to take a stand, taking that stand, especially if you use deadly force, is going to change multiple lives, including yours.

This is why I like burna launchers. I mean, I carry a gun, but my wife carries a burn a launcher in her person or car, and my kids have burnt a launchers. It can be used by anybody over 18. It's a non lethal alternative to safeguarding your home, safeguarding you in situations that are dicey, that are happening more and more frequently now in America. You can pack it in your checked luggage without the need to declare it as a firearm. On the day after JD Vance was announced as the nominee for vice president for Donald Trump and the course convention going on. What a crazy news cycle we are in, where we have an attempted assassination of the former president and current nominee, current favorite to be the next president.

You have the vice presidential pick coming out, the convention starting to Donald Trump's classified documents, case being dismissed, all within, what, a 48 hours period. I mean, I cannot remember a period like this. And we've gone through some of them. I mean, we were. We started the show, you know, back in the time doing the 2000 election.

It went into 911 soon after that. And we've had so many huge news cycles, everything from COVID to, you know, I mean, so many. We can go through all the names, but this is an interesting period in time.

And JD Vance signifies, I think, something really specific going on with the candidacy of Donald Trump in that this is a totally different pick than what he did in 2016. And I don't mean comparing Mike Pence to JD Vance as people or politicians or anything like that. I mean, as it. As it applies to Donald Trump.

The biggest thing to realize from this as you're watching this and kind of digesting it, is that in 2016, Donald Trump made his VP pick from a position of weakness.

In 2024, he's making his VP pick from a position of strength.

JD Vance is a strength pick. In 2016, he picked Pence because he was worried about evangelicals and he was trying to get people on board and people were skeptical of him. That is not what he's doing here. He's solidifying the party under his vision.

Glenn Beck
This is a legacy pick. This is somebody who can carry on the tradition and change the trajectory of the Republican Party.

Speaker A
Yes. I mean, because now it's not just Donald Trump for the next four years. And then, you know what it's been for the last couple of cycles, Glenn, has been a conversation of, when Trump goes away, does the old school regain control?

And what Trump is saying is no. He's saying no. I mean, JD Vance is the intellectual heir apparent to Trumpism, if you will. And he is the, I've made the case on this show many times that if I were Donald Trump, I would pick Vance. Now, it is a risky pick, and people will say, hey, wait a minute. If he winds up losing, people are going to look back at this pick and say it was too bold and maybe they'll be right. But Trump is making a calculation here. He's in a position of strength, and he picked a vp as if he was in a position of strength.

Glenn Beck
By the way, if anyone thinks that the assassination and what's happening right now with the polls will last, let's remember, Theodore Roosevelt was assassinated and he lost the election.

The Glenn Beck program. Let me talk to you here a little bit about, you know, those who believe that we have to do everything to stop any kind of climate change. Not only, I think, are delusional, but they, they also hate farmers and ranchers. They have to because they're putting them out of business. You know who also hates farmers?

Stew.

Stew. I hate farmers. Why do I hate farmers? You hate ranchers. You hate anybody that has any.

Speaker A
You're a farmer and a rancher, and I hate you. I think you're getting this confused. I don't hate all farmers.

Glenn Beck
No. Well, then you know what? Support the local ranches. Buy some beef. Buy some good, good ranchers beef.

Speaker A
I have a family that does eat and enjoys good ranchers, of course.

Glenn Beck
Yeah, but you don't because you hate ranchers.

Speaker A
No.

Well, President Trump showed up last night at the RNC convention, an unusual move for a Monday night, but he came out a different man. He is, I don't know, he felt emotional.

He looked a bit emotional. All in a good way. And like he has learned something.

We're gonna heard from him later this week also, JD Vance is now the vice presidential nominee, Goodwick out of Ohio for several reasons.

But we need to learn from history and we need to fight. Fight. Fight. Yes.

Fight. Fight. Fight. The media didn't like that last night from the RNC convention. They didn't like it from Donald Trump. Trump on Saturday after he was, that they had tried to assassinate him.

But fight is right.

But how?

We'll give you away here in 60 seconds.

First, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's simply safe. Imagine leaving your house every day to go to work and not worrying that somebody's going to break in while you're, while you're gone and rob you blind.

Imagine laying your head down on the pillow every night, not worrying that you and your family are going to be at the mercy of some criminal trespasser in the middle of the night.

You may not have that problem, but millions of Americans do. And you don't want those kinds of problems.

There is a way for you to stop imagining and do things that will change that from a probable reality to almost impressive impossible. It's simplisafe. beckley.

You know, I said earlier today that I want you to think of.

I want you to think of the idea of fighting on what is, what are you willing to fight for?

What are you willing to sacrifice for? And I don't mean fighting, thank God. We don't mean fighting at this point, picking up arms against each other. And I hope that never happens. But it could.

We could be experiencing that right now.

I haven't even gone to where I probably should have gone by now because it is still a possibility. And that is what happens. If we get to that. What do I say?

What guidance do I give you?

I haven't thought about it. I guess I should start praying harder that the Lord would give me the right words to say, because that's a totally different world, but a possible one, if not probable.

Fight now just means stand up.

Stand up.

They've tried to do everything they can to shut you up, to call you a terrorist, to call you a nazi, to call you a racist.

And many people have just retreated and said, well, I know. I just don't want to get involved. You have to. And that's what fight means.

Stand up for yourself and your family.

Stand up for your children and their future.

I wrote a, I wrote a book that comes out next week, and it's called Chasing Embers.

This is the book chasing Embers, and it is written for young adults.

And the reason why I wrote it is because about 20 years ago, I kind of felt that this time was coming, and I wanted to show the dystopian world that we may be headed for to our kids without freaking them out. It's a fiction book. And then being able to embed history stories in something that makes our kids think, is the truth worth it? Is the truth worth standing up for and fighting for what is true? How do we find it?

Why is history so important?

And trying to do that in a fiction book where it's a entertaining for young adults, not exactly an easy task, but I hope we've done it. And it is. It was described to me yesterday as kind of a Hunger games kind of book where you can see, you know, the series folding out. And it is, I think it's exciting, and its mission is to do good. And we reached out to moms for liberty, and I just wanted to get the moms to read this book and to get their feedback.

And Tina Daskovich called immediately after reading it and saying, we want to get this into public schools.

I think that's a mighty high hope. But Tina joins me now. Hi, Tina.

Tina Daskovich
Good morning from Milwaukee. Glenn.

Glenn Beck
I can't hear her.

Well, hello. Good morning.

Thank you so much. You have a program that you already do where you are. You're putting thousands of books into the libraries of public schools.

I think you put 10,000 books in last year. How does this work and what are you trying to do?

Tina Daskovich
Yeah, so, you know, moms for Liberty has been working the last three years to fight against indoctrination in schools, protect children and families, and defend parental rights. And one of the things we did was launch moms for Liberty foundation. And underneath that, we launched our moms for libraries program.

We had book publishers and authors coming to us that have written wholesome, good books for kids and youth and teenagers. And they were having trouble getting them placed in public school libraries, as you can imagine, because the public school libraries are filled with all kinds of garbage and porn, as we know. And so what we do is we take the donations of those books and we distribute them to our chapters. We are now in 48 states, 300 chapters. So that's 300 counties, thousands of school districts are covered, and we distribute those books to our chapters. And then they personally go down to their public schools, in the public school library. Many of them are volunteers already in the school, and they donate the books. And so they make sure they're placed on the library. They get card cataloged, and they can see if kids are checking them out and kind of follow the progress. And so when I read chasing Embers, I knew that's exactly what we needed to do with that book.

Glenn Beck
What appealed to you on this? And I'm not looking for compliments. I'm looking for truth, because we have more of them we want to read, and I want to know what connects with people and what maybe didn't.

Tina Daskovich
Oh, yeah. Well, I'm just going to have to give you a lot of kudos here because I thoroughly enjoyed the book. There are some books throughout my life that have really impacted me, and I would say my senior year in high school, I read 1984 and really changed and impacted my worldview. And as an adult, I read Atlas Shrugged and changed my worldview. And what I felt like with chasing embers was that it's kind of that same, has that same kind of impact on me, but it's for youth. And you said young adults. But I could easily hand this book to my children when they were in fifth or 6th grade because their reading levels were a little bit more advanced. Eleven and twelve year olds, I think, would really enjoy this book.

The idea that you took truth and history and you're making it kind of forbidden you said in, I think, your epilogue or something that you talked about that that's what you were trying to do, and I think you absolutely did that. And so, and when things are forbidden, youth, you know, they go crazy and they want it. And so it's just, it's a really great story.

Glenn Beck
Yeah. It's, I mean, that was the genesis of. It was reading Karl Marx, and I'm like, this is garbage. It just doesn't even make sense. It's just, it's gobbledygook. And I wondered what, why that was so popular and Thomas Jefferson wasn't. Because that's well thought out reason and, and revolutionary even today. And it's the fact, I think, that it's forbidden. You're not supposed to read that. That's. You're. You're supposed to read Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. You're not supposed to read Karl Marx. Well, now that everybody is supposed to read Karl Marx, maybe some of our true history will be forbidden and our kids will read it.

Tina Daskovich
Yeah. The other thing that I really, you know, like, it's a little bit more deeper about the story as it goes through is that. But it's that moment, I think we've all been there in our lives at different times where you're trying to find truth, you're trying to understand truth, or you've just learned that you've been lied to. And it happens to so many of the characters throughout the book. And I think just about everybody can identify with those moments. And it's really great to see the children start to learn the truth that they've been lied to or connect with something that the parents taught them as a child and realize that it's true as an adult. I think we've all been there.

Glenn Beck
Yeah. Also, the idea of this is going to change my life if I believe this. I don't know if I want that to happen. Do I really want to know the truth if it's going to change everything that I thought was true, that's hard. And I don't know if a lot of people ever get to that point in life and choose, yeah, I'm going to let this take me where it will.

Tina Daskovich
Yeah. I've been there in my own personal conversion story and things of that nature, so maybe that's one of the reasons the book connected with me so well. I think it will do a great service for youth to read this book. I really want to try to get it into as many public school libraries as possible. And so, you know, hopefully through partnering with you on this. We'll be able to do that.

Glenn Beck
So you just go to m four lfoundation.org, beck. Right.

Tina Daskovich
Absolutely. And so every, we're running the offer for a week. Every dollar that's donated on that website through the 23rd, I believe we are going to use to purchase this book, distribute to our moms across the country and make sure that it gets placed in school.

Glenn Beck
My business people hate me so much because I always do this. But I'll take my proceeds this week. And so if you put a dollar in every book, you're going to get my proceeds as well into ML four or m four lfoundation.org and we'll continue to buy, you know, other books. You're doing amazing things to get these books in. Can we talk? Are you, is it possible to talk about what's coming up in August with you guys?

Tina Daskovich
Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. I'm happy to talk about a number of things. You didn't hear my intro, but, you know, I'm here in Milwaukee and was on, on the floor last night when Donald Trump stepped into. And if I could just comment on that really quickly, because you keep saying that he has changed. I tweeted out early this morning when I posted the same sound clip of everybody chanting fight, fight, fight.

I'd like to say that I think everybody else has changed from that moment. The crowd was not chanting Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, like they have the last eight years. At every Trump rally. They were chanting fight, fight.

The tone has changed. The message has changed. And it really was, to me, it was a beautiful thing to see.

Glenn Beck
Hang on just a second.

We're talking to Tina Daskovich. She is the co founder of Moms for Liberty, something we get more on from her, from the RNC last night, her impressions on that. But also we want to talk to you about something that she talked to me about, I don't know, about six months ago. I'm like, if you're crazy enough to do it, okay.

And I think it's a really good thing that's coming up next month. We'll talk about that in just 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's american financing. If you are somebody who has, is struggling with your financing right now, believe me, you are not alone. There are so many people that are worried even about losing their house right now because they can't afford, well, they can't afford anything.

And they've, they've put even their food on credit cards and now those credit cards are raising the interest rates and some people are up to 30% interest rate. You can't, I mean, you just can't live that way. I would highly recommend that you would call american financing. American financing is a company that will look over your finances with you, see if there's some areas that could be improved, and see also if there's a way for your mortgage to help you out. If you did a refi of your mortgage and you rolled in your debt from all those credit cards, you could take your interest rate from 25 or 30% and bring it down to maybe 6%, which would greatly help you. It's like a $12,000 savings every single year.

That's a pretty good raise. American Financing 809 06244 8090 624 40 or go to american financing.net. just see if they can help you. American financing.net 8090 624 40 ten second Station Id NMLs 182334 nmlsconsumerccess.org dot apr for rates in the five starts at 6.7.

For well qualified borrowers, call 809 06240 for details about credit costs and terms.

I would urge you to help the moms for liberty getting school books into public schools, good books that will help our kids discover the true history of our nation and truth and are safe. Chasing embers is their push this week. If you would like to help, all you have to do is go to m four l foundation.org. back this week, they're going to try to put as many of this, these books into your school libraries. Imagine your kid coming home with a book from school with my name on it. That doesn't happen.

It's m four lfoundation.org. even if you just donate a dollar, if everybody donated a dollar that's listening right now, we could put millions of these books into schools. So please, whatever you have, if you'd like to donate, donate this week. Do it right now. M four l foundation.org Beck, what was your other takeaway from the, the RNC convention? Tina I felt joy from the floor. It was a very happy, joyous kind of meeting.

Tina Daskovich
Yeah. It didn't feel angry at all. It didn't, you know, there was no frustration. There was a sense of peace. You know, something happened with the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, like I was saying before the break, and, you know, it didn't just happen to him. I think it happened to all of us. And it was a realization of what we're up against and the war we're really in. And it elevated people that I haven't been a fan in previous years of people on street corners chanting Donald Trump's name. I'll be honest, he's my president. I voted for him. I support him. But there was something about that that used to bother me, but I didn't see that last night, not anywhere. You saw a reverence and respect for what's going on. But people are understanding that this is way bigger than one man, and he's the man that's been put forward right now. And we're going to get behind that, literally has taken a bullet for this movement. I think people really feel that.

Glenn Beck
I have Kevin Roberts coming on in just a second to talk about agenda 2025, which is so misunderstood. But I know one of the things is abolish the Department of Education, which you guys have to be for.

Tina Daskovich
Yeah, we actually are on the project 2025 committee with Kevin. They pulled us in on that coalition, and we have definitely given our feedback on the education portion of that and have had some influence there. The Department of Education is a nightmare. You know that. You know, all the test scores since the creation of the Department of Education have steadily declined. We have the lowest reading scores since the 1980s, lowest math scores in the history of the United States. So the Department of Education is up to no good.

Education should never be run from the national level. That's what the rest of the world does. Where America, local control by the people, by the parents, is how education should be handled.

Glenn Beck
So, Tina, go ahead and talk about what you're planning on doing in August in Washington, DC.

Tina Daskovich
Oh, Glenn, what you're planning on doing. You mean now that.

Glenn Beck
I think I was asked to if I would endorse and come, and I did, and then I heard that I'm now giving the keynote, and I'm like, wait, wait. Okay.

Tina Daskovich
Yeah, no, we've given you a title along with Doctor Olivita King. You guys are march captains, so that's great.

That puts you at the steps of the Jefferson. Yeah. Delivering the address. It's going to be a historic day for your listeners to know.

There's never been in the history of the United States a march for kids or a march for children in any fashion. I've done the research. It's been a march for every war, every country, every endangered species you can imagine, but never a march for children. And so we are working with 100 other organizations and pulling together a coalition so that everyone can stand on the National Mall in a peaceful, joyful, happy, uplifting, encouraging way, on August 31 this year, 2024, to march for children and you and Doctor King will be there. I don't want to throw anybody under the bus yet, but I did approach someone else to also be a march captain last night. He's very interested, but he has not committed yet, so I don't want to know.

Glenn Beck
Good. Well, I will tell you that. I mean, I've done this before and you were there with restoring honor and it was game changing and life changing for anybody who is there.

You just felt a different spirit. And I know because we talked about this a great deal when we spoke about it, that you are trying to recreate that same spirit. And if you do, and I think you will, it's something that lasts for a very, very long time in people. So that'll be the last day of August. We'll see you there. It'll be the Jefferson Memorial and it's the march for Kids. For momsforliberty.org dot you can find out more information momsforliberty.org and the books, you can help them buy school books now. One of, I believe, the real true patriots in America is Kevin Roberts. He's the Heritage foundation president.

We have gotten to know each other quite well over the last year or so, and I have tremendous respect for him, his courage, and what he is also doing at the Heritage Foundation.

I had a family reunion this weekend, this last weekend, and I had about 30 people, 35 people here, and not everybody votes the same way that I do. In fact, some of my family rolls their eyes at some of the things I say, and that's fine. And we're still family and we love each other. And we had a great conversation about what was going on, especially after the assassination attempt. And what came up over and over again was Project 2025. They're making it into a fascistic state. They are going to. They're going to give the presidency so much more power. And I laughed and I said, that's not Project 2025.

That's, in fact, that's the opposite of what they're trying to do.

This is something the Heritage foundation has done every election year for many years, but never to this degree. And Kevin Robertson is here to tell us about it. Hello, Kevin. How are you?

Speaker C
Glenn, my friend, great patriot. It's a pleasure to be with you.

Glenn Beck
Thank you. So, Kevin, talk to people who are hearing from the media that this is nothing but a way to carve out special exemptions for the president, for fascism.

Speaker C
The best way to start, and we'll go into detail, I know, is to say it is total projection by the left. I mean, you, perhaps more than anyone in our modern age, has shown us how whatever the left is accusing our side of is actually something they themselves are guilty of. And so Project 2025 is actually a corrective to the very thing the left is accusing us of doing. That is, they are the ones, particularly since LBJ's presidency in the sixties, who have accrued all of this power in the hands of unelected bureaucrats in DC. We feel that in every respect, every industry, every business, and even most of us in our sort of everyday lives. But ultimately, what project 2025 will do is address the problem of the administrative state in DC being weaponized against the everyday american. It's the biggest threat, as you know, the administrative state, Glenn, to a republic where citizens vote for a new president and a new direction. And yet nothing changes. In fact, what we will see if any aspects of Project 2025 are implemented is a diminishing of the scope of Washington DC and an increase in freedoms and the presidency and the legislative branch and the judicial branch all being returned to proper order. In other words, it really is, I think, the single best set of policy ideas about how we go back to the original founding vision, as our founders had it, of this constitutional republic.

Glenn Beck
You know, I said to some of our relatives, look, you and I agree on one thing, I think, and they did.

And that is no citizen should ever be afraid that the president of the United States is going to get them, that this election would put somebody in office where he could take away freedoms of people he didn't like or didn't agree with. That's.

I am absolutely against that because I know it always comes around to bite whoever did it in the butt because they'll eventually get to you, and that's not our system.

This ensures that the president, no matter which side they're on, doesn't have that power to get his enemies or to just rule his way without the consent of Congress and the people.

Speaker C
That's right. And if that kind of abuse and weaponization against the american people, using the administrative state we've seen against the right, the political right by President Biden, were for some reason to be done by a conservative administration. We have project 2025 and adheritage. To your point, Glenn, would be just as apoplectic. Every one of us, from the far left to the far right, wherever someone is on that political spectrum, needs to wake up in this country and believe that, of all entities, the federal government is going to be objective and neutral and fair and just and equal and how it treats all of our citizens. And so the real problem that we're trying to address isn't just the accrual of power since the sixties in particular. It is, without getting engaged in hyperbole, which, you know, I detest, addressing the weaponization of the federal government against individual citizens. I'll give you a quick story that is a personal reference, but it's emblematic of what people feel. I, as you know, am a traditional Roman Catholic. Doesn't mean that people have to agree with that. But that's my religious liberty and my family's to practice that we have, over the last few years, those of us in that category not just been fearful of, but we know the following has happened. We know this from the director of the FBI and the attorney general of Biden's administration. They have targeted faithful, traditional Catholics because we like the latin mass as somehow being domestic terrorists.

It's that kind of nonsense that project 2025 would bring to an end if the next administration and so desires to implement.

Glenn Beck
So has Trump signed on for any of this?

Speaker C
Look, it's informal. The president, of course, has distanced himself from this, which is, I think, a smart political move given how successful the left's mischaracterization of this has been. Ultimately, though, to your question, great ideas and great people rise to the top. And so without at all being presumptuous, which, you know, I am nothing. And Project 2025 is designed to sort of be in the background. Those great ideas and those great people, I think, are going to be part of this conversation once the Trump Vance administration takes office. So I would, for people trying to make sense of President Trump's comments and his campaign's comments in the project, understand that we are in the political season right now, and soon we will move into the transition and policy making of season. And I just have great confidence in the policies and people who are part of it and think that we're going to have a great era of good common sense policy reform that ultimately is sort of neither conservative nor liberal. It's just right and it's just common sense.

Glenn Beck
I will tell you that I read the website and we're doing a show on it tomorrow night to go through what it is and what, but it's not. And if people will read it, I mean, I think the, I think the media is doing a great service in a way. If people go to the website and really look up what Project 2025 is and reads it, I think most Americans will agree with a lot of it.

You know, you're, you're talking about dismantling the, not the DOJ, but the DHS.

You're returning the component parts to other agencies.

You're talking about eliminating harmful regulations that have stifled innovation in small businesses, more oil and gas leases, less climate extremism, no more over regulation of dishwashers and gas stoves and everything else that they said they definitely weren't doing. You know, I think, Kevin, the idea here is the administrative state has been made into something that can do all the things that they know they can't get passed into laws. And that's what's got to stop these people. These elites are running these organizations, and they decide what's best, and it never comes to us. And if we want to change the, then we'll change. You can't force us to do that, especially as an unelected official.

Speaker C
That's the key issue is that Congress, of course, is complicit in this by not being forceful enough over the last decades. And what it's done, frankly, under both Democrat and Republican administrations, is create this yo yo effect of the Democrats and the Republicans issuing these executive orders. I'm still hopeful enough about this country, Glenn, to believe that maybe a vast majority of us across the political spectrum understand that's not how we ought to make law. And so what we're trying to do with the proposals we have in Project 2025, in addition to what you said, is call for an end to DEI and CRT. I mean, this is something that's vastly supported. Unfortunately, we probably see, in addition to all of the aspects of the failure on Saturday's near assassination, the effects of that. That was a higher goal, DEi for the Secret Service director than real competence. This is the point. Americans understand what is going on, which is that a small group of people have concentrated power. They're not elected. They might be good people. We don't have to get into the personal side of this, but they are people who do not want those of us who are regular, normal people to go about our lives. It's imperative that people understand that the very reason the left has spent more money demonizing Project 2025 than we've spent putting it together, tells you it is a threat to their power. And that ought to excite us about the possibilities ahead.

Glenn Beck
You talk about in Project 2025, something that I haven't heard for a long time, and that's a flatter and fairer task. Tax code with a 15% bracket and a 30% bracket. They, of course, will say this is tax cuts for the rich, et cetera. But it has shown, math does not lie. It has shown, been shown over and over and over again. No matter what you do with the tax code, the government brings in about 18% total.

And if you bring the tax code and bring it up to 95, people find a loopholes, don't pay their taxes, et cetera, et cetera, and they still get about 17% to 18% going into the treasury. So why not do a flat tax where everybody pays, you know what's appropriate, and you don't have all of these loopholes.

That would be fantastic chance that that happens.

Speaker C
I think there's a chance. In fact, in some recent interview in the last couple of weeks, President Trump has even hinted at that, obviously, we're going to have to deal as a country with tax policy, because the Trump tax cuts are up for renewal. And I think there's an opportunity, depending on what the president, the vice president, of course, want to do, we will be of service to that, is to insert into that a flatter system. I mean, I'm old enough to remember when, as a country, ten or so years ago, we were on the cusp of implementing that kind of thing. This is an excellent example of something that is in project 2025 that is wildly supported by a majority of people. And it leads me to the following connected point. Glenn, you touched on this just a minute ago.

Project 2025 covers literally every policy issue known to man. It is a menu of policy options. I've not met one fellow conservative, whether that's my wife or one of my siblings or my dad, all staunch conservatives who agree with 100% of what's in there. The point is not to seek unanimity. The point is to provide a menu of options that represent the popular will that if President Trump and Vice President Vance so choose, there's actually a substantive plan behind that political impulse. And that actually, I would like to think for people who are more, and the political center or the political left, give people a little bit of comfort that actually what we're trying to do here is have a governing agenda, following the lead of the men who will be making the decisions. And I think as time goes on, to sum up here, the more we understand that's actually what this project is about, the more we're not only telling the truth, but we're actually kneecapping what has been a last ditch desperation attempt by the left. Left which can't run on the record.

Glenn Beck
Can you do me a favor? I've got about 60 seconds. I just want to run through some true and false, because these are the things that are being said about it. I just want to know if this is true or false. In project 2025, there is a call to end no fault divorce, true or false?

Speaker C
False.

Glenn Beck
Complete ban on abortions without exceptions, true or false.

Speaker C
Extraordinarily false. False.

Glenn Beck
Ban contraceptives, true or false?

Speaker C

Glenn Beck
Higher taxes for the working class.

Speaker C
False. Not the exact opposite.

Glenn Beck
Additional tax breaks for corporations and the 1%.

Glenn Beck
Elimination of unions and worker protections. My gosh, look at what they're saying.

Speaker C

Glenn Beck
Eliminate the department of Education through my friend.

Speaker C
That's the one thing they get right.

Glenn Beck
Love that. Use public taxpayer money for private religious schools to refer false.

Speaker C
False.

Glenn Beck
Teach christian religious beliefs in public schools.

Speaker C
False. We understand it's a pluralistic country. We love those schools, but that's up to people to decide.

Glenn Beck
End civil rights and DEi protections in government.

Speaker C
Well, we definitely want to NDI nonsense, but obviously the great thing about Project 2025 is that we're restoring civil rights.

Glenn Beck
If anything, ban books and curriculum about slavery, false ending climate projections or protections.

Speaker C
Well, the ones that aren't based on science will come to an end. But we certainly understand the value of science and protecting the environment.

Glenn Beck
I got to tell you, this is why we're doing a whole show on it. What they're saying about this is incredible. What it is. It's not. You can find it@heritage.org. or you can go to project 2025. I believe that's project two zero twenty twenty five dot org, Dot. Kevin, great to talk to you. We'll talk to you again.

Speaker C
Thanks, Lynn. Take care.

Glenn Beck
You bet. All right.

All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's good ranchers.

I have to tell you, Stu just hates farmers and ranchers. That's the only reason why. He just, just, he doesn't, he doesn't eat meat.

And he's like, I can't do it because there's good ranchers in America and I don't like them.

Speaker A
That, that is, that is untrue, Glenn. That is untrue. Now you're going to get me kicked off the potential ticket for 2028. All sorts of downsides here.

Glenn Beck
